$1 Flip Flops Have More Support
By Unhappy Customer
I took a chance on these as I didn't know TSC now charges an automatic restocking fee for all returns, whether you return your item right away in pristine condition (my case) or not. I knew instantly that these were terrible. There is zero support, to the point where you'd be better off with $1 flip flops. These felt like I was walking around with cardboard strapped to the bottom of my feet, and made each step painful! And even though I don't have arch problems,it felt like my arches were collapsing with every step. This was all on flat pavement, so the revewiers who said you'd have no chance with these on rough terrain were absolutely right. There are also no treads on the bottom, so you'd be slipping everywhere if you walked in the rain on flat surfaces. Compounding the disappointment, these took a week to arrive in the mail, even though I live quite close to the TSC warehouse! I really didn't think their standard "7-10 business days" delivery line would apply to me since I live so close, but they proved me wrong. It's ridiculous that any online retailer would take that long to deliver within such close proximity, and now it's going to be an even longer wait to get my refund processed, not to mention money wasted on restocking and other fees. I will NEVER take a chance on a TSC item again, unless it's something that is already sold in regular stores that I can try in person, and only if TSC can beat the stores' prices. After taxes and shipping, that usually isn't the case, so I'll never be a TSC regular.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Only running shoe for me!
Love these.. so comfortable, wear them constantly and never have issues with my feet. Have several pairs stocked up in case they one day disappear.Wish they were available in white with the colors not just black or grey with colors. Cmon Tony,, bring in some with white/pink, white/blue etc!!

Comfy Shoes - now that is good stuff ;)

I got two pairs of these shoes! They are amazing to walk in...however not good for jogging/running! These are my weekend shoes for those comfy days!

So comfortable! Waiting for Tony to bring back the sandles without tne thong between the toes. I so loved them
Not so great...
If you have any issues with your feet, these may not be the best shoes. The bottom of the shoe has a raised portion in the shape of a foot - and it raises the outside of your foot enough to cause discomfort - for me personally, as I get plantar fasciitis. The shoe would be terrific, if it wasnt for this issue.

I bought them for walking-tried once and my heel hurt so much. Took a week to heal.
Just a Little Bit More!
from Calgary (Alberta)
I recently purchased a pair of Tony Little's Barefoot trainers and decided that today was the day I would test them out at my gym. I was very curious to know how they would stand up to the treadmill and if there would be any noticeable difference between my trusty old Nike's and my spiffy new BT's. Well was I ever surprised! Not only was there a difference in the way my posture was corrected (no longer was I just going through the motions of lifting one foot and putting it down again) but the shoes actually encouraged my foot to hit a natural stride and rhythm, almost as though I was walking barefoot (go figure!). I also noticed that the lower half of my body got one heck of a workout while wearing these shoes. I was forced to actually engage my lower body, hips, thighs, calves and put a more conscious effort into getting myself up that incline instead of just plodding along and letting my Nike's do all the work for me. Same thing on the Arc Trainer. I noticed that the shoes actually guided my body to assume the correct posture, keeping me in alignment while my feet stayed firmly planted on the foot pedals. It just felt more natural to do so! I felt so good after that workout - I walked home from the gym in them!

Not good for walking!
This shoe looks very nice but is not comfortable at all for walking! They are the worst shoes I have ever had. Also the notes said to order them half a size larger which is totally wrong. I'm very sorry that I purchased these shoes and will not buy Tony Little trainers again.
This is my second pair...couldn't resist clearance pricing! Due to this protracted winter I have only padded about in the house. As a minimalist shoe, it does not have much support. I like the black with the teal trim...it's a spiffier look for what is just a runner. The sizing is true...got my usual 9.5...good width, should wear with a thin sock or possibly barefoot. May have an update if take with on a weekend away.
