Just received this - purchased on the basis of TSC salesmanship - and I have to share that on the back of the ID Stamp it says "This product may not conceal all data completely." Then it goes on the tell you the types of paper/material on which it's not recommended for use. I'm pretty sure no one on-air mentioned any disclaimers. As far as they're concerned, it covers everything. While I understand the need for salespeople to be positive - there is a BIG difference between being positive and being MISLEADING!

Great product! Saves me from having to shred all those envelopes. The paperwork doesn't pile up like it used to.

I also like that the ink is oil based. I saw some cheaper versions on other websites but the ink was NOT oil based so I didn't want to take the chance. Would rather pay a bit more for a better quality product!

I'm very satisfied with this item which does an excellent job of masking personal information. My only disappointment is I did not receive a refill with mine and had not realised the shortfall until now.

It's a great idea, but it doesn't cover the bold
print information on some of my papers. I still
need to either use my shredder or use a permanent
marker to black it out. Having said that, it's still a good concept.

I wish I had this years ago when I was trying to purge my overloaded files. What a time saver. It has been a blessing to me and I now never file away papers I kept because I didn't want to set up the shredder. Now I just stamp everything as it comes in the mail. Envelopes without a window just get stamped and put in the bin. No more bags of shrfedded paper.

well I thought it was great item, until the other day when I seen them at "large" office supply store, for $9.00 much cheaper for the same item with several styles also. Will use for everyday items but bought a shredder for more important items and will shred those(old tax info etc.)
So buyer beware and shop around.

Great idea. Wish I had this stamp years earlier. Would have saved a lot of material from being shredded and could have been recycled instead. Have to check after you stamp though. Some reflective inks still show through after being stamped. The tape works just like a "white out" tape. Simple.

I love this stamp. It blocks out my private information well. The only problem is that it doesn't always work the first time, so I've had to stamp 2-3 times.

My office at home is on the 2nd floor.I bought one of these to keep in the kitchen to censor what mail I can throw in the recycling.It is handy for those small jobs and I hardly have to take anything upstairs to the shredder anymore.
Fast and easy!Works great!
