Casa dei Vettii:
Most of the frescoes remain intact and in place in the House of the Vettii. The walls are covered with elaborate mural paintings categorized as the Fourth Style, a type of decoration that developed in the Roman Empire about 100 years before the destruction of Pompeii. The above black and Pompeian red walls of the banquet hall are decorated with cupids employed in various crafts and trades of the first century. Also scattered about the walls of this room are small detailed paintings of mythiological legend.

Mr. Nino Tagliamonte, along with two Venetian artists, successfully experimented with original Roman blending, processing and casting methods to develop a formula allowing them to create Venetian Cameo gems identical to the antique originals. Available in a variety of colours and set with 14K and 18K gold, the gems are hand wrought with incandescent glass, and the exact colour is established only when cooled.
