First time buying the Orthaheel sandals and wow, the actual words I said when I put them on was "ahh, that feels good." Love how they support my arch and are comfy to wear (after adjusting the straps). Will definitely buy more in future.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Straps are a bit rigid
I have flat, narrow feet and in the summer often have trouble finding shoes that look stylish and are still comfortable. I was very happy to see these sandals on sale because they were just what I wanted.I got them in the gold in size 10 and once my feet got used to them, I wore them as often as I could. The sole did feel a bit hard at first but the arch support was fantastic. There was also a little bit of extra room around the foot itself, so I never worried that my toes would spill over the front or my heel slide out the back. The only reason I didn't give this the full 5 stars is because the straps are a bit rigid (especially in front) and sometimes chafed my skin. The issue was easily solved with a few small bandaids, but I feel like if the material were changed or the straps cushioned, these sandals would be spectacular.
Doesn't feel good

The straps feel so thick and hard on my feet, it bothers my toes. I've tried to adjust the straps but makes no difference.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I started out with the Coral sandals, and they were so comfortable, that I then ordered the black. I love them. I am suffering with very sore toes, and the way they are made, they relieve the pressure on the toes, and I can walk easier.I have a narrow foot, so no problem with the straps. I did have a pair of the slip on sandals, but cannot grip my toes, so gave them to my daughter, who really enjoys wearing them.

A Bit Disappointing
from Sherwood Park,AB
These Sandals not as well fitting as the others Ipurchased before. They are not made with enough adjustment with the Velcro for a wider foot. The reason I was buying the orthoheel was because I could make adjustment for my right foot that I had surgery and foot has swollen. This sandal did not have enough adjustment. The back strap could be wider also to balance the width of straps across the foot.
Oh the backstrap

I have a few pairs of orthaheel and love them all, this red pair is my summer go to for shopping and they are comfy except for the backstrap. one corner of the metal piece rubs on my foot and is hard to adjust.
nice but the straps are not the best
I have purchased quite a few Orthaheel shoes, slippers and sandals. They have been comfortable and sturdy. I ordered these in the black and coral (almost red colour). They are nice to look at, they are comfortable to a degree. The problem is that the top straps are not long enough. The idea behind velcro on the straps is to offer adjustability. If you have a wider foot or your feet swell during the day, there is little room to adjust the top straps as they are simply not long enough - you adjust too much and the velcro pieces won't meet each other. The ankle strap is pretty thin; I don't mind it that much but it would probably be better with a little more substantial strap. Orthaheel...think about making a longer strap so that it can actually be fairly adjustable.

Love love love

First purchase of Vionic shoe and also bought the slipper. Have been wearing orthotics off and on for years, and this is just perfect for me. Both are tops in comfort. I was prepared to need time to adjust to them, but no, my feet. Love them, and I can't wait until they bring in winter styles. I'm a senior and wow, I can now wear pretty sandals

VIONIC with ORTHAHEEL Nancy Slide Adjust
By Wicked Wendy

I love all of my Vionic shoes, they are great and most comfortable. I have a number of the sandals with the toe thong, but I had my ankle and toes fused in the winter. I cannot grip the sandals with my toes, so when I found these I was delighted. I have two pair now with the cross over straps, the ankle gives me stability when walking. I may be able to use the toe thong sandals next summer, but will make due now with these sandals. I hope you have some more to choose from the next time you are in town. Fantastic product, I also have the running shoes and a couple of pairs of the boots. I no longer have the tired legs when wearing all day.Thank you for such a great product.
Best Orthaheel so far!
I have many pairs (10!) of Orthaheel and these are the best yet. They are dressy, extremely light weight and stylish to boot! I ordered the pewter and love that they are combined with black patent! Perfect with a long skirt or dress and comfy for the whole day and night.
