What it is:
VitaMucil is a whole food fibre supplement that provides a gentle laxative effect.
What it does:
VitaMucil can help with: high cholesterol, low HDL, high LDL, high triglycerides, high blood pressure, hardening of the arteries, constipation, weight loss, diabetes. It works by gently sweeping the insides of the intestines, to release built up debris on the intestinal walls. VitaMucil helps to lower cholesterol by decreasing its absorption and by sweeping it out of the intestines. It is for children and adolescents 6-12 and adults.

VitaMucil contains psyllium seed husk, the most beneficial portion of the psyllium plant as a fibre source and cholesterol lowering agent. VitaMucil does not contain any synthetic fillers, colours, sweeteners, gluten, casein, preservatives, soy or dairy. VitaMucil is considered a bulking agent as it expands in the digestive tract when mixed with fluids. VitaMucil can help in weight loss programs because it aids elimination, but also helps to create the sensation of fullness if taken before meals with a full glass of water.
