Ojon Classic Hydrating Thickening Shampoo

I am saddened to write this review. I also agree with the 2 reviews already posted, that this is not the true Ojon formula that we all know and love. As soon as I used this formulation, I immediately noticed the difference in its effect, texture and scent. I actually have stopped buying it because it no longer works as well on my hair as the REAL ORIGINAL formulation worked. I also agree with the person who posted about the "Peruvian Amaranth", that's not an ingredient in the older formulation.

I used the 'original' hydrating thickening Shampoo for over 2 years and it was absolutely WONDERFUL (lots of good comments for it in reviews), but when I purchased the new Volume Advance I was very DISSAPPONTED. Took me a long time to find a GOOD product and OJON [*] that up. I am going to try the Swa now to see if it gives me that healthy, thickening bounce I got with the thickening shampoo first. I could almost cry that they changed this product. Why do companies change a good thing?

I don't know why this is called 'classic' I even contacted TSC to check if this is the original formula and they told me yes it is. So I ordered it thinking the picture is just incorrect.

It is NOT the original formula. It's the 'volume advance' tweaked formula from what I can see. I have the original formula and compared the ingredients.

I wish you would bring back the original formuala...that wonderful earthy aroma!!!!

I'm so disappointed in this product and also with TSC and OJON for billing it as the 'original' even the label says 'volume advance' and there certainly was no 'Peruvian Amaranth' in the original.

I decided to go online to see if anyone had rated this product because I, like the previous reviewer, was so happy to see that this product was back that I bought two bottles.

Let me begin by saying that I have been a loyal Ojon customer since I tried it six years ago, and it was the "hydrating thickening" formula that got me started. I loved it!! When I found out that it was being discontinued, I stocked up. I still have half an old bottle left and had not tried the "classic formula." When I saw the poor review, I decided to use it this morning. Wow, what a disappointment!!!! And that is putting it mildly!!! My hair feel weighed down; it feels and looks like straw; and it feels liked there is a build-up on it that I would like to wash out!!!!!

I compared the ingredients from my old formula bottle to this so-called "classic" formula bottle and the list is not even the same. Shouldn't the ingredient list be identical if you are bringing back the origianl??? Just like the previous reviewer said, the consistency is not even the same. It is much runnier and thinner, and it does not lather the same. Even when rinsing my hair, it felt like straw!!!

It is very ironic that it was this very product that got me hooked six years ago and it is now this product that is making me go elsewhere. Your products have been going down hill ever since you started trying to "improve" them. As the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!

I love, love this shampoo. I cannot be without it.

I have thin, very fine hair & this works wonders for me. I have been using Ojon for 2 years now and it is the ONLY line I have used that truly works for me.

It's worth every penny along with the coordinating conditioner.

I DON'T THINK THAT THIS IS THE ORIGINAL FORMULA. SO, SO DISAPPOINTED.

I loved the original formula and was disappointed when the formulation changed to the "volume advance" so when I heard that the classic was brought back, I ordered 2 bottles only to be disappointed. This formulation is thin and watery, total opposite to the original formula and did not find that it gave my hair any volume. In fact the volume advance was a little better than this.
PLEASE, PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA FOR REAL.
