Vornado Whole Room Heater with Remote Control

I used this product all winter long in my bedroom,21'x 11' and I liked it. I keep my house at 66 degree's and upstairs it can be a bit "nippy" and this unit kept me warm enough without having to heat the whole house. I love the remote control.

Ordered this heater thinking I could warm up a cold family room. The first time I plugged it in smoke poured out of it, never a good sign. When I finally got it working it gave off very little heat, like after 3 hrs in a 10 X !0 room it felt like it was blowing more cold than warmth. Very expensive for a heater that doesn't preform. I returned it. Bought a similar heater at a local hardwere store for 30 bucks and it preformed much better.

I expected a lot more from this unit. I don't find the fan too loud but there's no way it's going to heat up a room like it promises. I like the remote control and the anti-tip safety shut off. If it provided enough heat it'd be great.

We use this heater in our home office which is above a carport and can get very cold on the floor in the winter. The heater does a nice warming job on the floor and room and we use it on 'high', not low and not fan. It can blow colder air at you but we turn it away from us and it warms the room very well. I think we were told that it can do service in the summertime, will try the fan setting then.

Nice small size, easy to move around, heat seemed acceptable though not great, but fan too noisy.

Bought this unit for a cold kitchen addition without insulation or heating with area about 6'x12 attached to a heated area of 8'x 12'. Placed the unit in the unheated area with a reading of 67 degees F. It took 1.5 hrs to reach the goal of 69 degrees F. Sometimes the fan blew cold air on my legs while I worked at my desk. The unit eventually reached the peak temperature programmed and did maintain it over a four hour period. I am disapointed by the product because of previous positive experience with the fan. I am not returning it because I like how solid the base is, I like the options,ease of use and that I feel the unit is a safe option for my needs. I hope that Vornado improves this product in the future.

I ORDERED 2 ,THINKING THEY WOULD HEAT MY KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM. THEY DID NOT GIVE OFF MUCH HEAT AT ALL ! I SENT THEM BOTH BACK.

I placed the heater in a room, 9x21. I put the temp at 75. It was 65 in the room. I left it on high for 3 hours and the room was now 66. The fan blows cool air and not much heat. I set the temp to 85 in hopes that this would make it heat up but still it only went to 66. I was very, very disappointed. The price point would have been great if it gave heat but not for a cool air blowing fan. I wanted to give it no star and I'm returning it.

I have to give this product 5 stars for air circulation but only 1 star for heat.
I really wanted this to work, I have tried it in every room in my small house. It somewhat worked ok in my bathroom which is only 5x6

If your room is already warm, than this will work for you, but if you want to use it as a space heater it is not going to do the job. I had it running in my living room for one hour and it only brought up the temperature by 2 degrees.

I am impressed with the quality, the safety features and the ease of use, but not with the heat output. For 800 watts I was expecting more heat.
