not just for pies!
The only complaint I had with this machine was it only has 2 wells. And now they have the 4 pie machine. I've used it for breakfast biscuits, cupcakes, pies, and my favorite leftovers (mac and cheese is not the limit, you can reheat anything)I also cooked chicken in 1 well and then heated my rice/veggies in the other once it was almost done. I'm really amazed at how easy it is to use.

I bought one when not on sale and now two for the price of one and I bought another set for xmas gifts. I used it to make individual turkey pies at thanksgiving and they were great. For that alone I will be using for xmas turkey. My girlfriend saw it and loved it. She doesn't know it yet but she will be getting one for xmas. Wolfgang's products are really good quality and has multi uses.
What a great machine

this is one great little machine. easy to use and easy to clean. It is so nice to be able to make all these little individual personalized treats, and try using leftover mac and cheese to make a pie so delish.
I love this machine.

It is easy to use, cleans up in an instant and makes the best quiche I have ever had.

Love this item!!
from Nepean, ON
Got item earlier this year. I must say that I used it a lot especially when summer fruit was abundant. Mini blueberry, peach, apple pies are delicious and you don't have to heat up the kitchen. You do have to fill the well so that the crust will brown also make sure the crusts seal or all the juices will seep out. Would be nice if this had some way of removing pies without having to make foil straps to lift them out because if you forget to make them, you may destroy the pie. Leftover mac and cheese is tasty too because you get a wonderful browning.
Great for singles & couples
Love my little pie machine. Great for one or 2 people to cook and not have to turn on the oven. I use pie dough from the bulk store to make the crust (just add a lttle water) and roll out on a cutting board, add my filling and cook. I've used left over beef stew (made in my WP pressure cooker) with great results. The turn the pie maker upside down to brown the top works!!

Great idea, but
from Whitby, Ontario
Used this machine to make banana bread - they turned out great. Made 4 chicken pot pies - upper crusts were not completely cooked after 20 minutes. Had a lot of cleaning up to do afterwards because oil(butter) from puff pastry crust was running down side of machine. As I picked up machine to turn it sideway to wipe bottom clean, oil started dripping out of the bottom section onto counter top. I am afraid this is going to be a fire hazard, and a nice reservoir for bacteria to grow in. Since there is no way I can get at the inside of bottom part to clean, I will have to send it back.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
While I haven't tried out all the options yet, I would say this little machine can pay it's way in breakfast pockets alone. I tried the recipe using biscuit dough to make the shell with an egg cracked inside. I turn the machine upside down at the end to give the top a browner look but the heat of the machine definately cookes the dough no problem. I have amazing hard cooked eggs in biscuit pockets. beware they are piping hot when you remove them so let them sit a little. If you travel to work these are excelent with your morning commute coffee - breakfast with no mess. Add your prefered meat/cheese before closing up and it is portable, tasty, and best of all cheap!
