I bought thisblender after researching a number of brands.I really like WP P roducts cause they are of good quality and easy to use. This blender, I tried it once and seems good enough. Will be using it more in the future. Lets see!!!

Don't buy it!!
We had this blender for a little over a year and it stopped working. We only used it for making smoothies and did not over tax it. VERY DISAPPOINTED with this blender.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Started off great, then died

I bought the blender just over a year ago. I was loving it I made smoothies every day but hadn't really used it for anything else. Then 1 year and 10 days after purchase it broke. I called customer service and was told a replacement jar would be sent. It has been three months and I have yet to receive the replacement jar. When Vitamix comes back on the Shopping Channel I will be investing in their product. Sad to say I've been a long time fan and customer of Wolfgang Puck products, but this time not impressed.

I've used it almost everyday learning to do SMOOTHIES. Enjoy the ease of using and cleaning.

Not sure it was worth all the trouble

I purchased this item as a showstopper almost a year ago. At first we were thrilled. Although it was annoying that it did not fit under the counter, we were so impressed with the power of the machine to blend smoothies and other items so smoothly that we found a place for it. We also weren't happy that the jug stained quite badly so it always looks dirty. We used it everyday for morning smoothies and for making sauces, etc. After 6 1/2 months, for no apparent reason, it started getting loud and the motor started smoking right in the middle of a smoothie. We put in a request for a replacement and were assured a 4 to 6 week time for a warrantee replacement. After 6 weeks I contacted the only phone number I could find and was told that there was some problem and it was being corrected. Then after another 2 weeks I was told that it was being shipped immediately. Then after yet another 3 weeks the customer service person kept repeating that that it was being processed...and had no other reason for the delay. After another 6 weeks and 3 emails to customer service we finally received the replacement. I just hope we get our money's worth out of this one. Next time we will check out the customer satisfaction of different products and companies before investing so much money into a blender.

Disappointing product and experience

I bought one of these blenders from the Shopping Channel. After a few months, the jar started leaking, and damaged the motor base. The jar also turned yellowish, and was very difficult to clean. I have been dealing with Customer Service for a replacement. After 3 months' wait, they shipped me a replacement that was not similar to the one I bought. They are now refusing to ship me one which is identical to my original purchase. I have escalated this directly to Mr Puck, and am waiting to hear back. I am very disppointed by the quality of the product and the way that my problem is being handled.

My Experience with this Blender

Fortunately, when I purchased this blender the extended return time was January 17. Lucky me!!Like the other reviewer, my container stained badly within the first weeks. Also, I was not able to control the speed when adding larger items to the soup. I tried the WP web site and no luck--no response. Also, just a very few recipes in their book--I used the Vitamix recipes on their web site.I returned this blender and lucky me, I bought the Vitamix. More control, no staining--just great.I would not recommend buying this blender.

I have been using the blender for a few months now, and it works well so far but I do have a few issues with it.The container is now yellow, as I made a curry soup with it and it discoloured it!Also, when i was making the soup, i put the ingredients in the container, made sure that the lid was securely on, pressed the soup icon and pressed start.within three minutes (the soup cycle goes for 8 minutes) there was soup coming out from under the clear plastic piece of the lid.i checked that the lid and the clear plastic piece were on securely and they were, the soup was just spewing out, all over my walls and counter.Unfortunately, i had had it too long to send back.I also wish that I had waited and got the Vitamix!
Don't buy it.

I gave it two stars because at first it worked great, my husband and I used it to make smoothies everyday for 6 months, then it started making grinding noises and a funny smell and we had to stop using it. I contacted customer service back in September ('13) and was told I should receive a replacement jar within 4-6 weeks. That was 3 months ago, and I'm still waiting for it. I've called 3 times since then, and was told the same thing as I was told during the first call. I emailed the head quarters customer service 2 weeks ago, I have not heard from them. Bottom line, I really regret not saving up a few more dollars and buying the Vitamix.

I got it about 4 weeks ago and I am very happy with it although it dose not fit under the kitchen cabinets .I use it every day for the green veggies and fruit smoothie .I tried to make an orange color soup but it didn't turn out good, it had a raw taste to it.I guess I didn't do it properly
