Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker with Recipe Booklet and Ice Cream Scoop

I've been using the Yonanas nearly every day. At first it was a pain to clean the parts and seeing all the additional fruit inside and not being used. Now after making the desserts (usually for two persons) I just freeze the top piece that has extra fruit inside. When I use it again I take it from the freezer, allow it to thaw a bit with the fruits to be added and attach it to the bottom electric part. I've been adding a bit of honey, cinnamon and lemon rind to strawberry and mango but with bananas it's already quite sweet. Delicious and healthy!

I bought this last year when only the silver color was available but I got an extra feeder/plunger attachment that came with that promotion. I like having the extra feeder/plunger. That way if you you use it frequently, you don't have to worry about everything sitting in the sink. Solid construction. Works well. One negative is that it isn't difficult, but there are a lot of pieces to clean and it takes longer than just washing under the tap. I find that you actually have to soak and use a brush to clean everything appropriately. Another negative is that I am single and only use it for one person at a time. Most of the frozen fruit stays inside of the front of unit. You have to unscrew the front and take it completely apart if you want to get most of the frozen treat. This would be only a concern for the last serving if when making for several people, to get the same amount, you will have to disassemble it and scrape it out. I would suggest before freezing bananas to cut them in half. that way you can put the smaller frozen berries etc in between the pieces of banana.

great with mixed frozen fruit and great way to use overripe bananas.it is noisy but doesn't take long to make . weight watchers 0 value dessert and just as good as ice cream. much healthier, no fat,lactose tolerant too!
