Bague trinité en argent sterling et à pierre zultanite

I watched the Zultanite Show one time and thought the gems looked pretty spectacular. I didn't order anything at that time but I didn't forget the name of the stone. From time to time I would check the Shopping Channel website and decided to take the plunge and purchase a ring.
To say that this gem sparkles is an understatement. It sparkles under incandescent lighting as well as sunlight. It does change colour, depending on the light. Sometimes the green reminds me of a peridot and then I look at it again and the stone is such a pale yellow-green that it seems to be almost colourless. Depending upon the light this stone could easily be mistaken for a diamond. So I can't quite decide the colour. My personal preference is sterling silver because it doesn't detract from the gem. I would consider purchasing Zultanite earrings but I have a tendency to lose an earring, never both earrings,
The ring is comfortable to wear and doesn't slide around on the finger.
The only complaint I have is that under the details the hardness on the Moh's Scale is not mentioned.
For those who like unusual gems this is one to get.
