Occasionally in our fine jewellery shows we will present appraisals done on specific items that we offer for sale. Please note the following conditions regarding these appraisals:
- We only appraised the on-air sample.
- This sample is randomly selected from that particular production run.
- We do not include appraisals with the items we ship.
- Appraisals are subjective. They are an educated opinion on what it will cost to replace a single item. They are valid for insurance purposes only and do not necessarily reflect the selling price of an item in the market place.
- Appraisals can vary greatly on the same item when using different appraisers.
The Shopping Channel uses and recommends using independent, professionally accredited appraisers, who do not also sell jewellery, for the most objective evaluations.
