Advance Order

When an item sells out, we are sometimes able to secure additional inventory. Our Advance Order feature allows you to order an item prior to us receiving this inventory -- guaranteeing that you'll get the product you want!

Currently, Advance Orders can only be processed by calling our Customer Care Centre at 1-888-2020-888. Your order could take up to 10 days to ship. Your credit card will NOT be billed until the product is shipped to you.

Auto Delivery

Available on select items, our Auto Delivery service is easy and obligation-free! Read below for details on how the service works.


How does Auto Delivery work?
Select items are clearly marked "Auto-Delivery." Once you've signed up for Auto-Delivery, you don't have to keep reordering the product. You'll automatically receive a replenishment, or a new addition to a collection. All Auto Delivery items can be purchased by calling our Customer Care Centre @ 1-888-2020-888. Currently, only select Auto Delivery items can be ordered on our Web site - applicable ordering methods are mentioned on the product detail page.

How are Auto Delivery items shipped?
All Auto Delivery items are shipped via Canada Post. S&H charges differ based on the Auto Delivery item being purchased. Please see the specific product detail page for confirmation on shipping charges. You can change the frequency of your shipments easily by calling customer care at 1-888-2020-888. Changes will take effect immediately from the shipping date of your last shipment. Intervals can vary between 30 and 120 days.

Are there subscription fees?
Some Auto Delivery items require a one-time subscription fee. In this case, S&H may be waived on future Auto Delivery shipments for that item. Please note subscription fees are non-refundable.

How will I be billed?
Your credit card will be billed each time an Auto Delivery shipment leaves our warehouse.

Can I cancel my subscription or return an Auto Delivery item?
All Auto Delivery items are covered by our 30-day money back guarantee. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your Auto Delivery purchase, you can return it to us within 30 days for a full refund. There is no obligation to stay enrolled and you can cancel at any time. Simply call our Customer Care Centre at 1-888-2020-888 to cancel your subscription.

What if I need to hold or delay an Auto Delivery shipment?
Going away on vacation? You can place your Auto Delivery subscription on hold and specify a date when to resume shipment. Simply call our Customer Care Centre at 1-888-2020-888. Holds can be placed for a maximum of 120 days.

Can I pay for an Auto Delivery item using Easy Pay?
Our Easy Pay installment billing plan is not available on Auto Delivery subscriptions at this time.


Cancelling Your Order

Any changes to an existing order, including requests to cancel your order, must be done through our Customer Care Centre at 1-888-2020-888. Orders may be modified or cancelled up until midnight EST the same day the order is placed.


EASY PAY®

Our Easy Pay® plan allows you to spread your payment over several monthly installments. You'll be presented with the number of Easy Pay installments offered on an item (when applicable) on the product detail page. These Easy Pay installments are the same as what is offered on our TV broadcast and when making your purchase via telephone.

For orders placed online, we offer Easy Pay installments that are applied to the total order amount (regardless of whether you've purchased an item that qualifies for Easy Pay). Your purchase amount will be divided based on the following:

$59.99 - $89.99 > 2 monthly installments
$90.00 - $199.99 > up to 3 monthly installments
$200.00 - $999.99 > up to 4 monthly installments
$1000.00 - $1999.99 > up to 5 monthly installments
$2000+ > up to 6 monthly installments

If you have an item in your shopping cart that qualifies for Easy Pay and your order total is greater than $2000, you will be offered the maximum number of Easy Pay installments

2. First installment is charged on shipment. Equal payments are charged in 30-day intervals after the date of purchase.

Extended Warranty Service

We've got you covered! Protect your purchase for an additional year.

This service is available for all items, including Fine and Fashion Jewellery items. The service can be purchased through phone-in orders only at this time, and is not available through web orders or IVR orders.

The Extended Warranty begins after the manufacturer’s warranty ends and lasts for a one year period. An additional year of the Extended Warranty may be purchased. Generally, items that are $200 or greater are repaired and items that are less than $200 are replaced or a credit is given.

In a case where the product cannot be repaired, a voucher will be sent that can be used towards tSc merchandise. We encourage customers to purchased their Extended Warranty at-time-of-purchase, at the published rates below. If the Extended Warranty is purchased at a later date, it must be purchased at a higher price through this external supplier number: 1-866-302-4859.

What is not covered?
Misuse –i.e. Customer that uses a product incorrectly and damages it
Abuse – i.e. Customer damages the product themselves
Acts of God – Rain, Lightning, etc.

Ordering via SUSAN (Automated Ordering System)

Ordering with SUSAN is fast and easy! This voice recognition system will walk you through each step.

Important tips before you start:
- Susan will understand most words spoken at a normal speaking pace. Please do not speed up or slow down as this may cause Susan to misunderstand.
- Give Susan only the information she requests. Please avoid adding extra words like “my Visa number is …” or “I would like item ….” .
- Entering numbers using the touch-tone keypad on your phone may facilitate the ordering process.
- Susan will only ship to the address that is on your file; if you need to ship the item to an alternate address, please place your order through a Customer Care Representative or online at www.theshoppingchannel.com.
- If at anytime you need to speak to a Customer Care Representative, simply say “Representative”.

Step 1 - Identification
Susan accesses your account by your phone number. The number is the phone number that you provided to us when your account was set up.
- If Susan recognizes the phone number you are calling from, she will ask if the phone number is correct. If the number is correct say “yes”.
- Susan may ask for your phone number. You can give her your number by saying your phone number with area code (ie: 416-555-1234) or entering your phone number with area code using the touch tone keypad.
- Susan will say your postal code. If the postal code is correct, say “yes”.

Step 2 - Ordering
Once Susan has accessed your account, you can begin to place your order.- Susan will ask you for the item that you want to order. To order your item say the item number or enter the item number using your touch-tone keypad on your phone.
- If you want the Today's Showstopper, say “Showstopper”

Once Susan identifies the item in our system, she will then give you the description and price of the item:
- If the item and price is correct, say “yes” - If the item and/or price is incorrect, say “no” and Susan will prompt you to re-enter the item number

Susan will ask you how many of the item you would like. Say the quantity. Note: Individual item numbers cannot be purchased in multiples over 5.
- If the item that you selected has a choice of style, size or colour, Susan will prompt accordingly. Simply say your choice. (ie: small). You can also say “List My Choices” and Susan will let you know what is available.
- If you want to add to your order, Susan will prompt you for the next item number. If you are finished, say “I’m done”.

If Easy Pay is available, Susan will ask you if you would like the order on easy pay. Say “yes” or “no”.

Step 3 - Payment
Once you have finished shopping, you can provide your payment information.
Susan will ask you for your credit card number. You can:
- Say your credit card number. You do not need to specify the type (ie: Visa)
- Enter your credit card number by using the keypad of your touch-tone phone
Susan will ask you for your expiry date. You can:- Say the month and year ie: “January 2007” or “0107”
- Enter the expiry date using the keypad of your touch-tone phone

Step 4 – Shipping
To complete your order, Susan will ask you to choose the shipping method.
- Say “Canada Post” if you would like to use Canada Post
-Say “Courier" if you would like to use UPS
- If you choose courier, Susan will ask if you would like to use Courier Ground or Courier Air
- Susan will give you the total of the order, including shipping and handling and applicable tax before processing the order.

To recap the items that you ordered, say “recap my order” and Susan will list all items that you ordered. - Susan will give you the order number as confirmation that the order has been placed. Do not disconnect before getting the order confirmation number. If you do, your order will not be processed.- If your e-mail address is on file, you will receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been placed. A second E-mail will be sent once the order has been shipped.


Payment Options

TheShoppingChannel.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express as methods of payment. You can use a different credit card to pay for each order. Select the appropriate card, then fill in the card number and expiration date fields. We do not offer C.O.D.

If, for any reason, your credit card is not approved, we will contact you by phone to verify your personal information. You then have the option of choosing a different credit card for that order.

You can also pay for your order using The Shopping Channel Gift Cards, Rogers Gift Cards, Rogers Video "All Access" Gift Cards and Toronto Blue Jay Gift Cards. Only one gift card can be used per order.If you are taking advantage of our Easy Pay® installment billing when purchasing with a gift card please note that the gift card amount will be applied to the amount of your final installment

Sales Tax

Provincial sales tax will be added to the following provinces (in addition to the 6% GST):

Please note: Atlantic provinces (excluding PEI) will be charged 14% HST. In the case of PEI and Quebec, tax is added to the total cost of the item(s) + shipping and handling + GST - therefore, it's a compounded tax. The territories will be charged the 6% GST.

If you are Native Canadian and, therefore, tax-exempt, simply mail or fax us a photocopy of your tax-exempt card. We will adjust your account to ensure you are not charged sales tax on your purchase.


Shipping & Handling Charges

Shipping and handling charges vary depending on the size, shape and weight of an item and the delivery method chosen. Multi-packed items are shipped at a reduced rate based on the combined weight of the items ordered.

Shipping & handling charges for an individual item is listed on the product detail page, just below the price. Total shipping & handling charges for your entire order is detailed in your shopping cart.

Some Drop-Ship items (items shipped directly from the supplier, rather than from our National Distribution Centre) may incur additional shipping charges if your address is outside the supplier’s delivery area. If this is the case, we will contact you before the order is shipped to advise of the additional charge and to verify if you still wish to purchase the item.


Wait List

Our Wait List feature allows you to get a second chance at a sold-out Today's Showstopper.

From time to time, we are able to get limited amounts of additional inventory. If this inventory becomes available we'll ship the product directly to you. Best of all, you'll get it at the same great Today's Showstopper price we offered it at originally!

Currently, Wait List orders can only be processed by calling our Customer Care Centre at 1-888-2020-888. Your order could take up to 45 days to ship and there are no gurantees for availability. Your credit card will NOT be billed unless the product is shipped to you.
