In 2011, di Potter launched a new line of 100% paper tableware products manufactured in America and built around Diahann Potter's personal style. The initial line of products debuts under the name The Paper Table and features a collection of items that help create a stylish table with ease, including paper lamp shades, chargers and candle bands with beautiful and trend setting designs.
The products' colors and designs change seasonally to meet the current market trends.
di Potter firmly believes that gracious entertaining should always include a focus on creating a warm and inviting atmosphere through the use of beautiful tableware and accessories. Setting the scene to for a wonderful event does not need to be cumbersome or overly formal - di Potter will show you how to create an enchanting atmosphere with ease.
After spending several years in the banking and information technology fields, Diahann Potter decided to pursue her passion for design and founded di Potter in 2009. In 2012, that design firm evolved into product as well as interior design with the launch of The Paper Table.
Diahann spent five years living in Switzerland and traveled to a multitude of international destinations that influence her style. She describes her design style as timeless, classic and clean, and she has an appreciation for traditional and contemporary elements, as they both contribute to the overall design effect.
Diahann holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from the University of Minnesota and a diploma in interior design from Rhodec International in London. She currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her husband and two children and spends her free time enjoying family, entertaining friends and keeping abreast of the ideas, people, products and trends shaping the international design scene.
