Have used many exfoliating and dermabrasion products. This one is really good.

I read the above reviews with interest. I have "extremely" sensitive skin. I have tried virtually every "sensitive" facial scrub or Microdermabrasion treatment and 99% of them left my face in a worse condition than before. I ended up with a red blotchy swollen face for about three days and always developed pimples. My skin is not acne prone, nor do I get more than a pimple a year. I ordered the Shinto Micro Manage after listening carefully to the presentation with skepticism, but hope. There is no question, the packaging is beautiful; very techno. When I opened the jar I was pleasantly surprised to see a high-tech coloration of the product. It was a sort of pearlized mix of silvers and borealis. A definite 5 for presentation! But, what about results. The consistency of the treatment itself was so silky soft with the finest texture of dermabrasion ingredients I have ever come across. I did not have any unpleasant smell from my jar; no harsh chemical smell or perfume. I needed very little to do my entire face. It left my skin soft, clean, and my skin looked and felt more refreshed. The following serums and moisturizer used went just soaked in, which was a positive sign. But the true test was to see my skin the next morning. No red blotches, and no pimples developing. That is huge for me. My experience was a very positive one. I understand that the packaging and advertising spikes the cost up when one can use a dark prescription-type bottle like Dr. Perricone does, which is also his method of advertising that because he is a doctor and uses pharmaceutical bottling for packaging, it must be better and more trustworthy. Every company looks for what angle makes their product stands out from the rest.( I do use Dr. Perrricone, so no slur to his products.) Packaging aside, I finally found a Microdermabrasion product that did exactly what it claimed. Having sensitive skin makes trying these types of products difficult for who wants to walk around with a swollen blotched face, so I am thrilled it works.

I've been using the product for 2 weeks now and have noticed quite an improvement in my skins texture. It is noticeably smoother and clearer. I have tried many of the other products sold by the shopping chanel and this is the best one ever. I particularly love the pretty packaging as it looks decorative on my bathroom vanity.

Very disappointed in this product my skin is very dry
and this made it dryer maybe it would be better for oily skin.
Will be returning it.

This line has caught my attention! these products deliver,my face feels so soft,and even my husband says my face is looking better and that I am looking younger, he felt my face and said it was soft after doing the microbrasion your skin feel tingly and soft. The moisturizer is actually pretty good but I did not like the strong scent. I would prefer an unscented version then perhaps I would purchase this product again. The packaging is quite nice but really unimportant to me. Perhaps a refill option would be more economical for the purchaser.

So much money put into the packaging!
It's a pretty jar with hardly any product. The whole line is expensive and I am sure it's because of the packaging.
If this was in a tube I am sure it would be worth $10.
It is pretty abrasive and not as smooth/nice as it was pitched. I woke up the next morning with red, blotchy skin. (Never mind what the host with the sensitive skin said - that it did not affect her sensitive skin)
