Hush Puppies Grayson Mid Shaft Boot

This is the third pair of Hush Puppy brand boots I have owned. The first pair I purchased are still in great shape but are so old they are no longer in style! The second pair are similar to the Grayson mid shaft and were also purchased on the Shopping Channel, but the shorter bootie style in suede. I purchased them a half size larger than my regular size hoping to fit my custom orthotics inside of them. They worked perfectly. Very, very comforable for my always aching feet, also cute and very warm too. Look great with jeans. Decided to go ahead and order the taller mid-shaft Grayson in dark brown suede as well since they are made much the same way but better for deeper snow. They look equally good with jeans or a longer casual skirt (since they only reach to about 5 or 6 inches below the knee). These were well worth the money. So happy to find these since I am having a hard time finding boots that are both cute and comfortable. I live in the countryside and often do all of my shopping and other business in the city on only one day in the week. Now I can wear the same pair of boots all day without my feet my feet begging for mercy! I had also ordered the mid shaft in the black leather but they looked a lot like rubber boots when I wore them with jeans so I decided to return them. I would have given these five stars if it weren't for the black leather boots. I would prefer to give them a 4 and 1/2.

I bought the black leather in my regular size. They fit good and are comfy but are a bit narrow, even for a narrow foot. I'm hoping they will stretch slightly in the width. They are not bulky, which is nice for wearing under jeans/pants. I'm glad these are not my only pair of winter boots because I don't know how warm they will keep my feet. These are good for shopping or being indoors without getting to hot.

Love the color of these boots - main reason for purchasing this pair. It is a difficult color to find.
Not as supple as I would like a pair of boots to be.
