Set of 2 Magic Mats

These really do keep water and mud at the back door! I also find that they launder beautifully. We' ve had ours for almost 2 years and they are still in great shape.

I have dogs and thought these would be great to use at the door when they come in from outside. They seemed to work ok when I first used them but after washing them they are pretty much useless.

This is my second set. I have three dogs and find these really helpful with dirty paws, etc. The trick is to keep them clean. So mine are machine washed on a regular basis. The color will fade a bit, but they still work great. I wish the smaller mat was a bit larger. My older set still works great, I've just found more places to use them. Also the rubber backing grips the floor better than other mats I have purchased.

I had originally purchased the beige ones a few years back and was so pleased that they worked as well as they were shown on tv, that I had to buy a second set while the others are in the wash. I do not have doggie paw prints on my floors after a rainy or snowy day and I have walked on the floors myself coming in with groceries and have had no problems either.

I reviewed magic mats after I had purchased my first set of mats over a year ago and thought they were great then. I have purchased a second set and both sets are still working wonderful. They have stopped puddles from collecting on my floor and dirt tracking everywhere. They wash easily and I can't tell which mats are the new or old ones. Other mats I have purchased have left the backing of the mat on my floor. These mats remain perfectly intact. I hope shopping channel continues to carry these mats. I have not found anything comparable.

I find this mat set excellent, would not want to be without them. I have the larger of these mats just inside the back door and the smaller a couple of steps away at the entrance to my kitchen. They definitely catch the wet, dirt and grit tracked into my house. When my husband and I enter in bad weather, I stand on the first mat for a second or two, then move to the smaller one, giving him the opportunity to stand on the bigger one. We both then shuffle our feet if we have picked up sand and grit. After a few seconds our foorwear is clean and dry. When grit and sand accumulate, we shake the mats outside. I have washed and dried them twice. The first time I used the dryer on low, the second time I hung them to dry then fluffed in the dryer. They came up like new. I have not had any fluff tracked from the mats.

I bought 2 sets of these for my kitchen as I am a renter and the lino has a lot of issues and is difficult to clean. I placed the mats in a row along my sink, stove and work area.

They are definitely not decorator items. They look like they came from the $ store; the tan is very drab. The backing does make them stay in place however until you try to run a Dyson upright vacuum over them to pick up crumbs. It latches on like a suction cup and will not budge. Have to shut off the vacuum to break it.

They are not very absorbent. If you spill a few drops of water on them, they will feel wet underfoot for hours. A spoonful of spilled water will feel like a pan full.

They are very difficult to launder. I have to wash them one at a time. It takes a long time to dry them. By the time I have washed and dried all 4 the floor is dirty and needs to be mopped before putting the mats back down.

The only positive I can give these mats is that when you drop something on them it doesn't bounce under appliances and cabinets so is easy to retrieve. I wish I had returned them.

When my husband and I went away in July for a two-week vacation in Ontario, there was a small leak in my upstairs bathroom coming from the toilet that we were unaware of. When I went into the bathroom after returning from our trip, I stepped on the rug that was in the bathroom and it was like stepping into a small lake. That carpet had absorbed every drop of that water and held it and it did not allow damage to anything else in the bathroom or the house below. Fantastic.

Initially i purchased these for my kitchen entrance. The mat was thin so I was pretty sure the door would go over the mat without bunching it up. I never looks dirty, yet when it is vac'd the dirt certainly comes out. The smaller mat I gave to my sister to place in front of her stove, and she loves it. No grease splatters on the floor. I would have liked to see them a little bigger, but they do the job expected.

These are the ugliest mats I have ever seen! There isn't any pile on them and they don't work. I have 3 little dogs and I haven't noticed a difference at all. After washing and drying I had to scrub out my washer and dryer. And I do mean scrub. I can't find anything good to say about them. It's too late to send them back so they are going in the garbage. What a complete waste of money!! I ordered 2 sets so it was a lot of money. Disgusted. I only gave one star because I had to. I would have preferred no star.
