T.I.P.S. Simple Manicure Set

I didn't think T.I.P.S worked at all but I decided to try it again. I have come to the conclusion that it does really make your nails healthier but you have to use it for a long time and multiple times a day. This isn't an item you can just use and they will grow. You need to baby your nails, be careful on the soaps you use, nail polish you put on on and buy TIPS polish remover. Store bought polish remover is horrible on your nails no matter what products you are using. I also suggest when you first start using this to not wear polish for two weeks so it is applied on bare nails. I love colour on my nails but I found doing this helped. Give it time and you will realize it works too. Too bad it doesn't produce faster results but be patient and you will have lovely nails. File is amazing too. Better than glass files.

A while ago I bought a kit that came with a few bottles, and the nail file. I used the T.I.P.S religiously as per the instructions, and after two months i still saw no results.

I stopped using it, even thought I had some left.

About a month and a half later, I noticed all my nails were long and NOT peeling! (both things were a first for me)

I went back to using the T.I.P.S daily, and the good results continued. I realized I didn't give it long enough to work --- my 'bad' weak nails needed time to grow out. My nails are now very strong and never peel.

So my recommendation is to try this product, but be willing to wait months for results (not weeks).

The file is great. I use a crystal file I have to shape my nails, and this one seals them. It gets in all the nooks and is a great design. I love the file!

I'm very confused, because the tips solution is actually making my nails WORSE! My nails were full grown and very healthy when I started to use this daily (I could even bend them like the rep did) but now...I kid you not....I have ONE nail (thumb) that is long. Very odd, my nails are actually splitting and peeling off when they weren't before - I can't believe it!
I gave 2 stars because I LOVE the nail file. The tips solution smells terrible, like gasoline and I think the rep. said it's safe to ingest, but the ingredients listed are paraben-this and ethanol-butyl-that. That sounds like parabens and gas-like substances to me! I don't see how it's all-natural and ingestible?
Also, I'm confused as to why the rep. says it's bad to rub anything into your cuticles, or to bump your nails in any way, etc....when all I've ever heard was that tapping your nails and stimulating blood around the nails helps them grow! Even other nail-care companies say this.
Anyway, I can't stand the smell and it seems to be ruining my nails so I'll not order it again. Not sending back because I do love the file!
NB: I used the product everyday, sometimes more, exactly as described for about 2-3 weeks.
Would NOT recommend the tips,
WOULD recommend the nail file!

I like the nail file. It's better than my crystal file because it does not overfile the nail, it smoothes out the edges. Unique concept! Good product for strengthening nails. My nails are stronger and are not bending as much. I will definitely keep buying this product!

I have tried many nail care products,some from T.S.C and some drug store brands and always go back to Tips. After only one application my nails look hydrated and no more dry sore cuticles I rub the excess oil into my hands and have no need for hand cream. The nail polish remover is excellant too. My only complaint is the viles are small and I go through them quickly which gets expensive.

I bit my nails most of my life so had really thin nails that were very difficult to grow out. I've been applying the Tips nail conditioner morning and night almost a month now and my nails have definitely gotten thicker and stronger, and I am now able to grow them out. I even took a before and after picture and what a difference. I did slip a few times and bite a nail or two but they were much harder to bite through! lol. My cuticles and skin around my nails are also alot softer. I like how the nail file files the nail, it doesn't shred the nail - it does work and feel different from your usual nail file, you think it is not doing anything at first but when you look at your nail afterwards it really does look sealed smooth. Both products work great.

This is one of the few products on the market that actually delivers on its promises!
I have been using it for years and I truly swear by it. I usually treat my nails 2 - 3 times a day, keeping bottles hidden in convenient places so I can't forget!
Without treatment my nails would crack, chip and flake away as soon as they start to grow, and break sometimes just opening the car door.

This is the only product that makes a REAL difference in my nails, especially in the winter time. I love the curved nail file as well. It's gentle on my thin nails unlike emery boards that tear them apart. I am almost out of TIPS so I will be reordering shortly.

I used the product many years ago in an attempt to stop biting my nails. When my nails would grow they would peel and split and this stuff made my nails beautiful! I successfully stopped biting for a year and had compliments on my nails all the time. They were stong and so healthy looking, the nail tips looked like french manicure with no polish. I started biting again and recently took off my acrylics and tried a new product on them which left me very disappointed. I found an extra bottle of T.I.P.S in my cupboard and I promise you the difference was seen within 2 days, so I will be ordering again and sticking with this product and hopefully stick to not biting my nails too.

I'm on my fourth bottle of tips nail care, and I can't believe the difference it's made to my nails. My nails have always been really thin and broken easily, especially on the sides. I've been using this product faithfully for the last 3 months and have not broken one single nail!! I accidentally bent my thumbail back and didn't break it. I started using tips twice a day initially, once in the am and pm, but after 2 months am only using once a day. The smell may not be that pleasant, but you could actually drink the stuff and it won't hurt you, it's completely non-toxic, so I can live with that...I love my nails and cuticles now and will continue to maintain them with tips.
