I have now purchased 6 of the smaller pillows to date over the past 2 years for my own use, using 1 pillow at a time.

YES, they are expensive, but if you suffer from neck pain and the resulting poor sleep, they are a godsend. It may take a few days to adjust to its firmness and its difference in feel from any other pillow used prior. Neck pain disappeared within days - nice to awake feeling good.

NO, I experienced no heat from them.

NO, I did not notice noise in my ears from the pellet stuffing - initially.

HOWEVER, the pellet stuffing disintegrates rapidly for such a high-end priced item.

They perform beautifully for about 3 months before the disintegration becomes noticeable.

As a 135 pound woman, who sleeps every night with minimal movement, the weight of my normal sized head produces apparently enough pressure on the well stuffed pillow to grind down the pellet stuffing within 4-6 months, rendering any benefit to using this pillow negligible.

Noise from the ground-down pellets becomes noticeable within 4 months.

The recommended pillow case becomes discolored within months and seems impervious to even rigorous washing efforts. You are discouraged from using any normal pillow case by the manufacturer as this inhibits the benefits of the pillow.

The pillow becomes VERY misshapen and floppy at 4-5 months.

The pillow must then be replaced as it becomes worse for averting neck pain than any other mid-range pillow.

If you can afford to replace it twice a year, it's worth the price. Otherwise, forget about perpetual use, hence my recommendation below.

I wonder if Shopping Channel reads these reviews.

The price is far too high for even a great product that requires replacement twice yearly.

I have six Tony Little micropedic pillows. I do find them great for sleeping as I have a really bad neck. Unfortunately they do NOT keep you cool. I wake up during the night very hot. The other downside to the pillows is they seem to break down in about six months. I have had my newest ones for a few months now and they are already breaking down and the support I was getting is dimished.
I do love these pillows when they are new because yes the do support my neck and I find I can sleep better.
One more complaint is the pillow cases really turn grey after a few washings.
I think that the little air filled beads inside to actually tend to break down quite rapidly so for this reason I find the pillows a bit expensive.

I used to have a sore neck at night until I bought this pillow. This is the best pillow I have ever bought. And I have bought lots of different pillows.

The only complaint is the pillow cases are only white. I wish they came in other colors. They do tend to turn a little gray and look a little ruff after washing every week.

Since the first night I slept on this pillow a year ago, it has made a tremendous difference to my neck & shoulder pain. I have tried many different chiropratic pillows and this is the best I've found. I find them extremely comfortable. Sometimes they do not keep my head from sweating, but mostly I find them cool and wake up refreshed. I tried using a regular pillow case, but it doesn't work well for the mechanics of the pillow. So...I wish there were more colours of pillowcase in the silky material.

Over the years I have bought every type of pillow out there due to a problematic neck and headaches frequently developing during the night. All neck pillows I tried were too hard for me and because of that actually caused neck tension. This pillow is the best yet. Have been using it for 2 years now. It keeps the head/neck properly aligned and yet has enough give to be comfortable. It is definitely a must try if you have neck problems. I prefer to use a regular pillow case over the one it comes with as I am not keen on the feel of the material of the supplied pillow case.

I started by trying a set of jumbo pillows. I suffer from a neck problem and spent years sleeping on husk pillows because they held my neck in place but was like sleeping with a bag of rice under your head. After the first night I woke of for the first time in years feeling truely rested. I was so impressed I bought a set of standard pillows for my mother who is in a nursing home - the staff fell in love with them, my mother loved them and all her friends are asking their families for them.
There is no way to explain how comfortable they are, they keep you cool and if you have a medical problem like nerve or bone damage they are the best because the cradle the injured area.
I wish the pillow cases came in more choice of colours but aside from that you can;t get better than this

I purchased this pillow about 3 years ago, and at first didnt find it very comfortable or conforming to my head and neck, it does take a while to get used to it and now it fits around my neck and head very well. I dont find any deterioration at all. It hugs my head very well. I do not find it hot, like other reviewers have mentioned. I use my own pillow cases on the pillow to match my sheets and find it just as comfortable. These people complaining about how the cases fade and turn grey and wear out....then just use your own pillow case for heaven's sake! This pillow is so comfy it molds to my head and neck and it just feels luxurious. I can't sleep on any other pillow, and not only that , my boyfriend wants one for himself because he always ends up sleeping on mine, so now I am ordering a whole new set, however, I would prefer just one, but they dont sell them individually. I didnt feel like spending about a 100 for two pillows when I just only needed one.

IF you are really interested in support for your body - these are the pillows...ok.. from others the pillow slip looks so so - so what!!! I didn't buy them for looks I bought them for support.

I'm a Canadian - and travel to the US for the winter season - when I got there I was in so much pain from arthritis I actually emailed my Dr to give me a requisition for an MRI in the USA - and THEN I saw these on a US shopping channel - I bought them - Tony I would swear in court - it was the FIRST night's sleep in many months without pain!!! I couldn't believe the relief as I sunk into the pillow and the pillow absorbed the pressure of my joints, I bought a second set so I could bring them home to Canada - I've recommended them to a couple of friends with major chronic pain issues - and they swear by them...so in my option if you're looking for a pillow to absolutely support your body - and btw I've had them for over a year and they are fine .... then these are the pillows!! PERIOD!

I bought a set of two of these pillows over a year ago. I found them expensive, but have neck and shoulder pain, so was ready to try anything. For the first year, they really helped relieve my pain and they were nice and cool most of the night, but after about a year, they seem to have flattened out and offer MUCH LESS support; they also don't feel very cool anymore. I thought I would try to wash them and see if that would help, carefully following the directions, but they are no better, in fact I think they are worse since washing them. I would love to buy 2 more to get the same comfort I had from them when I first bought them, but I can't afford to spend over $100 on pillows every couple of years. Overall I am disappointed that something so expensive has such a short life. If they have improved them, they should offer an exchange to previous buyers.

I love these pillows. Believe me I have tried every conceivable pillow possible. From the first night I slept on one I have been headache free, that's about 3 years now. My pillow covers are really getting sad looking but I no longer wake up with lines on my face either.
