Rio Nail UV Gel Nail System

I bought 2 of these when they were on sale. I gave one to my granddaughter and she does my nails for me. The nails look good for over 1 week. Love it!!!!

This system has already paid for itself. I used to get a gel manicure every three or four weeks at $35 each. After three uses, this paid for itself. It doesn't last quite as long as the gel but it is close enough. It's been over two weeks for my latest polish job and it is starting to show some chips. I just touched up the coloured polish -something you can't do if the polish is at the salon - and I expect I will get another few days out of it.

Some issues- yes, it is a bit fiddly to do, especially the first few times.. I have gotten much faster at it. Also, the light did not work and I had to send it back.. However, the Shopping Channel phone service person was very helpful and I received a working replacement promptly.

My nails didn't quite make the 14 day mark, but I did make it 8 whole days before I saw my first chip. It is a bit time consuming to do, but it does last a lot longer. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

This kit does what it claims. You get a hard, shiney surface on your nails when you use it as directed. I had a problem with the UV light after the Shopping Channel guarantee had expired, but the distributor replaced it for me and I am back using the kit. Great product and great service from the distributor!

This system takes way too long to complete (just the gel curing takes 3 times on each hand for 3 minutes each time) and I haven't experienced great results...both times I've used the system it lasted about a week before it started to wear off. The only reason I'm giving this a 2 is because my nails looked great for the first week.

received last week, read instructions 3x took awhile to complete 2hrs appx -/+, its been 3 days now and NOT a chip in sight!!!! as I am a croupier
I could not wear any polish as it would look horrible by the end of ONE night so I gave up!
THIS REALLT WORKS!!!!!!! (it was my 1st time so I'm pretty sure it will take less time with practice!!)

Well, this is now the 11th day after applying the gel and curing my nails and there is not a nick, fade, crack or loss of polish in sight.

When I received the Rio System, I read all of the accompanying information thoroughly, not once, but 3 times until I knew exactly what to do to use the system precisely as instructed.

I am absolutely thrilled at the shine, longevity of colour, ease of use and quality of the gel solution. I can attribute the growth, strength and excellent health of my nails to Sibu Cellular Support. And now, with the Rio UV System my nails look like I just walked out of a salon everyday. Prior to the system, I would apply a base coat, nail polish and top coat, however, by the second day my polish was already chipped and fading.

I am thrilled with the Rio System. My suggestion would be to follow the instructions to the letter and allow sufficient time for the nail polish to dry completely. Thereafter, complete the procedure with the System and I think you will be as excited as I am with the brilliant shine and longevity of your nail polish.

so i followed the instructions step by step and it chipped on the first day a few hours after applying.I will be sending this back.

After only one day chipping and peeling.Took over half an hour to do both hands. I will be sending this back.

I love this system because you can buy the refill kit. Bought another system but can not get fefills for it .
