Zelo Keratin Hair Straightening Duo

I purchased this product with high hopes but was very disappointed. I followed the instructions perfectly and even researched it online before to ensure I knew what I was doing. It did not work and it actually stripped the color in my hair! The nice rich brown hair I had disappeared into a brassy brown and I had to get it redone. Not cool! I am glad it works for some but for me it was a big disapointment and cost me more in the long run!!!

Tried product for first time-easy to follow directions and great results! Do not be discouraged by how hair feels before 1st washing. Suggest you use product in pm and then wash next morning as hair was way too 'waxy' feeling. I have long hair that is curly\frizzy and that I colour and highlight. Did not have any problems with colour fade or hair damage. My hair is in better condition then before use. Even my hair stylist was impressed and she it a skeptic! No need to use straightening iron-just blow dry or air dry! Def will be ordering again.

The product is fabulous, but you need to follow the instructions, changing any steps will alter results. Most importantly, the less you use the better the results. When people state their hair is too stickly and unable to comb it, it's because they used too much product. This is the best my wired unmanageable hair has ever been, it's soft, silky, straight when applying a flat iron, and it only takes minutes to flat iron. In the past, it took over an hour to flat iron my hair, i would be discouraged to flat iron my hair again. Now, my hair is the most manageable it's ever been, even after dyeing it.

I have slightly wavy highlighted hair. Was very nervous to use the product as straightening always implies damage. I would recommend having someone help apply the product - ill fitting gloves make it hard to judge amount applied. Horrible to try to blowdry it - wasn't straight at all once dry just sticky. Felt like hair was going to snap off trying to comb out after blowdrying. Once flat ironed it was quite shiny but hard to comb through each section. So wanted to love this. May work for some but not me. Didn't note any damage so with 30 day guarentee may be worth a try to some.

We used this product on my daughter's hair which has been coloured. Her beautiful red colour is now orange. I am not impressed as this said to do a test strand. The test strand was ok, the back of her hair is slightly affected but the front of her hair is very orange. It is like the colour has been stripped out.

I used this product last week and I am totally in love with it. I normally would pay $250.00 and up for a keratin treatment but with Zelo I was able to do it myself with amazing results.

The tip for anyone using it is don't overuse on the hair - I have hair a little past shoulder length and still have almost half a bottle.

It was well worth the price and I have since purhcased another bottle.

I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants smooth hair and no frizz.

I am totally disgusted by the false advertising of this product. What a waste of money and time this treatment was. The product rep that came to TSC should be so ashamed of herself for lying to Canada about what this cheap product will do to your hair.

I had high hopes for this, and after using it trust me its going to cost me a lot more than the measly $50 to get my hair back to the way it was. I have thick, coarse (but not damaged) wavy hair with frizzies at the front of my forehead and back of neck. I have had a Japanese straightening done at a salon a few years ago and the fact that these people compare this product to that is a total lie. The cost of getting that done in the salon (about $400) is the only reason why I haven't had it done in a few years.
I washed twice and applied the product exactly as instructed on my hair. My head felt like a jar of honey had been emptied on it, very hard to comb through, even harder to get the straightener through. Once finished, my hair was very "waxy or greasy" and it was straight alright. I couldn't stand the feel or smell and as the instructions say I was able to wash afterwards (about 3 hrs after, only using conditioner). I blew dry my hair and my frizz is still there and my hair doesn't look any different other than: the ends feeling VERY dry and the hair colour which I had two weeks ago is completely gone from my roots and they now look brassy-orange, and my hair is dark brown! So I'm going to have to get my hair colour done much sooner and probably need a few conditioning treatments to get it back to the way it was.

This product is garbage. TSC should have its own staff testing these beauty treatments before releasing them to the public in Canada. The before and after shots of the models they had are a complete fabrication, unless they put half a bottle of shine serum they sell on each one?

Ladies, save your money and go to a salon and get a professional straightening done which will last up to a year. That is exactly what I intend to do in about 3-4 months after (hopefully) I can get my hair back to its former healthy condition. I cannot understand how a product supposed to nourish your hair has completely dried out my once-healthy hair? I used the heat setting they suggested and this is what happens.If there was a rating of zero stars out of five, that's what this would get.
