Just a thin layer is best.
from Alma, Ontario
Not a fan of peels, and was a little discouraged in the beginning with this one, but quickly learned that you really need to be carefuly not to apply too thick a layer, or it will never dry to allow for peeling off.Just appling a thin layer is best.I like to follow the black mask by then using the white mask as suggested. Then my skin is silky soft and feels so CLEAN and smooth.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I use this mask for a while now, and I am very satisfied.Having a sensitive skin, I prefer to peel it slowly, and I avoid stripping it fast, I may end up peeling it in smaller portions than in the show-video, but I get the results of unclugged pores. It has a nice herbal scent, nothing strong. To me it has a cooling effect as it dries. I didn't have adverse effects, and I am very satisfied with this mask. Boscia has not made me unhappy until now with each products I tried. My skin seems to react very well to this line, thanks to TSC for making me discover Boscia!

Just Loving this!
I have a sensitive skin, combination, well, troubled skin (it didn't get the memo that adolescence crazyness is over). Since I react and irritate, inflame easily, I peel it off slowly, and end up doing it in small sections, unlike on the video where they peel it in one piece. I see that in those days in the month, that the break outs are much more dry, and on the way to heal. My pores are smaller, but do get larger a while after the use of the mask, but it with all skincare, it is a question of time, patience, and consistency in the use, after all, it is not a surgical procedure. But I use it since a while, and I am very happy with it! Use the White mask they offer after, the skin gets just so silky, great combo!
need too much product, then it's impossible to remove without ripping you're face off, finally skin is no better after!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

What's Up With This Mask?
from Victoria, BC
After watching the presentations on tSc and the US network, my expectations were very high about the wonders of this mask. I agree with the reviewers below who found the mask hard to take off -tugging at the skin - leaving the skin raw (and inflamed in my case) and tearing eyes. What IS in this mask? I checked the "Beauty Bible" (Paula B's Don't Go ....) and discovered that there were irritants on the ingredient list and some potentially toxic! How do companies get away with this?! Oddly, some of their other products are fantastic and don't get top marks out there.

Not for me
I tried this product for a month although it is a great idea it didn't work for me. I found parts of the mask dry beautifully and the you will still have wet spots. I left it on for 40 minutes to see if that would help, it didn't, I have cancelled my auto delivery. I will stick to mild face peels, looking forward to trying the Elizabeth Grant Vitamin C Face Peel.

follow-up on my April 16-review
It's been a month now, my bottle is finished. I have to use too much product, no good result, no pores diminishing, no skin clarity, too harsh for the skin. It's definitely not worth the price. I prefer getting a facial with a professional, the results are better. It is the first and last time I buy this product.

I love the rich blackness to this product, but removing it is incredibly painful. I apply a thick layer and it sticks to my skin so well that pulling it off is a horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend for people with sensitive skin.
On the fence but will be returning
I've used this mask 3 times now and still not sure if I like it. I read previous comments about applying it on thick, but found that after 30 minutes, some spots didn't dry at all so it was a waste of product as it wouldn't peel off and had to wash it off instead. The second time I used less and applied it the same way they demonstrated on the show (little bits at a time). No problems with peeling off that time. You really do need to make sure you apply under the orbital bone and not on the bridge of your nose that's close to your eyes as it does irritate the eyes a bit.I have adult acne and really thought that I was going to see a lot of gross stuff on the mask after peeling, but didn't see any whiteheads or blackheads on the mask. What I did see was all the fine little hairs that it ripped off my face, which is why I think my face felt so smooth afterwards. My face cream applies beautifully afterwards, but by the next day it doesn't feel the same. I'm on the fence though, because my acne hasn't been coming back as much. I think it's the cleanser from Boscia that is preventing the acne from coming back, so unfortunately I think this mask has to go back.

Very Happy with the Results
from Burlington, Ontario
When I received the product I immediately tried it. I applied an ample amount which did not seem to be much and let it dry according to the instructions. Easy to peel off but did not notice a big difference other than my skin was soft.A couple of days later I again went through the same process however this time I did notice that where I had tiny bumps on my forhead were gone and my skin appeared to be clearer.I will continue to use a couple of times a week.
