14K Gold Necklace Extender

This extender is great. I 'm using it for my diamond pendant. The bale is so small on the pendant & a salesgirl said to get an extender & loop it through the bale & then I could use any chain. She clamped a few links so that it would go through the bale. Now I can wear the pendant. It looks great & I'm so pleased that I can now wear the pendant.

Recently took a 16" necklace into jeweller to add links to make it longer as I found 16" too short to my liking. First high end store did not know what I wanted. Second store sent it out and had it extended 1/2" by adding small rings - at a cost of more than the regular price on this item!

I use this extender on both gold and silver chains.

please bring this one back in 14k yellow gold, like other reviewer says, you cant find these anywhere in real gold,i even use mine with my bracelets as well as necklaces.

I purchased this because I needed an extender for a necklace that I bought at the shopping channel. My necklace was to short. Beats having to buy another necklace for the pendant and the necklace part was all beaded. Will buy again. Thank you.

I have worn this for a week on an 18k chain that was a little too snug on my neck. In the shower. Sleeping. No problem. At times both the lobster claws would show at the front without looking odd. The clasp is a substantial size easy to do up. Good Job. Just waiting for the yellow gold to come in!

I agree with one the previous reviewers about the lobster clasp, as I was also pleased to see these newer extenders had a larger clasp. My first one was a white gold, the yellow gold had sold out, so I had to wait for The Shopping Channel to replenish their stock.

I love having these extenders, they are wonderful little add-ons. And, I am another person who was having difficulty finding these. You can easily find them as a gold-plated, or, gold/silver-toned item, but they are not at all nice looking, at least the ones I've seen are not.

So, if you don't need one, get one as a gift for someone you know that likes fine jewellery. They will love you for it!

I have purchased yellow and white gold and now a can use old chains that needed extra lenght. So I saved a few dollars, specially on the price of gold today. The lobster clasp is a good size and easy to open.

Am very, very pleased with this extender. Wanted to write a review because TSC listened to the reviews on this product when it was first introduced. I have the yellow gold extender from when this product first aired and the clasp is quite small. I was impressed when I received the white gold one to see that the clasp was larger. Great value for money for 14K. Many thanks.

I have been looking for a gold necklace extender
for a long time and could only find costume extenders locally. This one is well made and blends in with my gold chains and makes them more useful to me by providing more options.
