About Diamonelle®

Diamonelle® is The Shopping Channel’s exclusive brand of simulated diamond jewellery. Being our largest and most popular collection of jewellery, the Diamonelle line includes our original Diamonelle & Gold collection which features eye-catching styles in 14K gold; Sterling Diamonelle features affordable looks set in sterling silver; Diamonelle Gems includes rich designs incorporating various genuine gems; Diamonelle Evolution pairs glittering stones with sleek stainless steel in Euro-inspired creations; Pure Platinum Diamonelle includes the desirable precious metal; Palladium Diamonelle features the revolutionary sterling alloy.

Diamonelle stones are machine cut to the exact dimensions of genuine diamonds for a fire and brilliance that is superior to the real thing. Diamonelle has a higher level of dispersion (fire) than regular diamonds and corundum (sapphire and rubies), which have toughness ratings of excellent and good to excellent, respectively. While it can withstand everyday wear, it is not impervious to damage. However, no gemstone in the world is impervious to damage. After all, how would you cut a stone if it could not be damaged?

Diamonelle jewellery is made exactly like fine jewellery. Every step in the process, from the mountings to the skilled craftspeople assembling the pieces by hand, is the same. The Diamonelle line features a great deal of multiple-piece work that you wouldn't normally see in other lines of diamond simulants.

Diamonelle are the highest quality simulants in this category. They are virtually flawless and colourless. The shape, size and position of the facets are identical to that of genuine diamonds. Diamonelle looks so real that only a trained jeweller or gemologist can tell the difference.

The real difference lies in price. Since up to 98% of the price of fine jewellery is the cost of the diamond, Diamonelle pieces can range anywhere from 1/10 to 1/100th in price.

VERY DISAPPOINTED... Poor quality

By Once Faithful Follower

from Winnipeg

I was attracted by the design of the ring, love it, but am VERY disappointed with the quality and the stones. I ordered it in the yellow gold. The gold is very flimsy, thin, not like the normal quality of bands Diamonelle has used in the past. I've worn it for 2 weeks now and the band is already bending out of shape.

The stones are terrible. They look like glass. I thought it was Diamonelle I was getting, not CZ. Sounds like false advertising, if you ask me. I have been buying Diamonelle for years and up until now I've loved everything I ordered. I am not sure this ring is Diamonelle since CZ is stamped on the inside of the shank and that symbol is not present in any of my other rings.

I agree with the previous comment..."(I noticed that Michael Valitutti is no longer representing the line and wonder if the quality of Diamonelle left with him. They used to say Diamonelle was made in Swizterland, but now I notice that many pieces are made in China. I avoid those and this last piece was supposed to have "originated in Canada".)

Diamonelle used to be my favorite line on the Shopping Channel but I have now been disappointed. There is just no comparison between the pieces I ordered years ago and the one I've just received. I know the price of gold has gone up but I would rather pay more and get the quality than pay for substandard workmanship and goods.

big, Big, BIG Disappointment

Love the design of the ring but am VERY disappointed with the quality and the stones. I ordered it in the white gold and the two outside stones are not bad, but the three center stones are terrible, with two large black marks in each of them.

I have been buying Diamonelle since 1997 and up until about two years ago have loved everything I ordered. I am not even sure this ring is Diamonelle since CZ is stamped on the inside of the shank and that symbol is not present in any of my other rings.

This is the second ring in a row I have purchased from Diamonelle this year and returned. The first one looked great, but was sized wrong. I had ordered an 8 for my middle fingger, but it measured 7 3/4 when I had a professional jeweler check the size. Since it was too small for my middle finger and too large for my ring finger, it had to go back.

I notice that Michael Valitutti is no longer representing the line and wonder if the quality of Diamonelle left with him. They used to say Diamonelle was made in Swizterland, but now I notice that many pieces are made in China. I avoid those and this last piece was supposed to have "originated in Canada".

I am going to go with the "three strikes, you're out" rule. If the next item I purchase from Diamonelle doesn't satisfy, I will no longer even watch the shows. Diamonelle used to be, hands down, my favorite line on the Shopping Channel but I am getting tired of being disappointed. There is just no comparison between the pieces I ordered years ago and the ones I am receiving now. I know the price of gold has gone up but I would rather pay more and get the quality than pay for substandard workmanship and goods.
