A designer can toil for a lifetime and never be accepted by a Fifth Avenue jewellery empire like Cartier or Tiffany & Co. A testament to his talent, Richard began his jewellery career with both of these highly selective, iconic brands.
Richard has designed spectacular jewellery for more than 30 years, beginning as a fine arts and illustration major at New York City’s School of Visual Arts. After graduating, he transitioned from student to professor, teaching design in NYC at the Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
His natural and vintage themes have captured the hearts of jewellery lovers, while his talent and skill have caught the eyes of jewellery experts. Richard’s style has been recognized with numerous awards, including the American Gem Trade Association Spectrum Award, Diamonds Today Award, International Pearl Design Competition, and the Pearl Utopia International Design Prize.
Throughout his distinguished career, Richard also has been a finalist for the Diamond International Award and the Gold Virtuosi International Jewellery Design Award.
