Best hair mask
This is the best hair mask I have used. I have fine, damaged hair and if I use this product once a week it keeps my hair soft. It also does not weigh down my hair, it just looks smoother and has more shine. The ingredients listed in the product description on the website are incorrect and the first ingredient is not water. The first ingredient is palm kernel oil and the second is palm oil.If you look at the ingredients of many other hair masks on the market you will notice that most of them are chemicals and many rely on silicones to smooth the hair shaft. Silicone is damaging to the hair over time. This product however contains natural oils to moisturize and smooth the hair shaft and does not contain silicone in any form.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

from British Columbia
Ever since Ojon was sold to a large department store cosmetic company, all of the original formulas have been re-created. The representative for the company just said on tv that this product does not contain water. The first ingredient listed on this new formula is water. My favorite product was the Tawaka shampoo and conditioner that they no longer offer. It's a shame that the original ingredients that made this company so popular will probably never return.

By My 2 cents.
Ojon products were the only hair products I used for many years since its introduction at TSC 15 years ago?!With BIG company buy out and the so call reformulation for better/improved products, what I found was water-down of beautiful & effective ingredients. I was elated when the original Revitalizing Mist was finally bought back but I noticed the scent is different from the original mist and the ingredients are also different from the original; that may explain the difference in scent! This Restorative Hair Treatment is another example of inferior ingredients to that of the original formulation!Very disappointed that Ojon is trying to fool long time Ojon users with diluted/inferior ingredients and claim them to be the ORIGINAL formulation!

Conditions but smells!!!
I have used this from a showstopper some time ago-I do not know anything about the change in the company but if some of the ingredients are the same-the smell is horrid!!!It is claimed to be a great conditioner for the hair and it does do that and it has helped my hair-but I just cannot leave it on my hair for too long because of the smell-I cannot describe it except to say it is an old smell of cigarettes-I do like the shampoo and conditioner and oil treatment though.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!
I have an old jar of Ojon, from wayyy back in the day when it was truly pure... it took me about a year to finish a small bottle (50ml) because it was THAT concentrated. I was going to buy another bottle of the restorative treatment, and thank goodness I looked at the ingredients first. I couldn't believe that the first ingredient was no longer the active ingredient. I live chatted with a TSC rep first, and they listed the ingredients for me to confirm that the first ingredient wasn't the Ojon oil. So I asked what percentage the Ojon actually was anymore, and they said to contact the Ojon people directly.I did, and they never returned my call or email. Looks like they have something to hide... I will NOT buy this product again, and am truly sad about that - it worked wonderfully as the original formula, but I just won't waste my money on a watered down product.

Please re-think and reformulate!
By The Clothes Pinner
As Sue noted above...I couldn't agree with her more. I have one of each jar - both the original formulation and the more recent watered down version. I have been rationing the original jar by using it only every few treatments. To the executives of Ojon, you will lose my business on this particular product to other "more natural" competitors. You have a great line which i'll continue to support, so I'm hoping you'll rethink your decision and reformulate!

THIS IS NOT OJON ORIGINAL FORMULA!
I have used and loved Ojon since it was introduced on TSC. I was not happy when Ojon announced it had been bought out by a big well known cosmetic company because I knew it was only a matter of time before the number crunchers would turn this wonderful product into everything else on the market. I kept an old jar of restorative treatment and here are the ingredients on the label: ELAEIS OLEIFERA (PALM) OIL, SERENOA SERRULATA FRUIT EXTRACT, LECITHIN, LIMONENE, CITRONELLOL, LINALOOL, TOCOPHEROL, ASCORBYL PALMITATE, CITRIC ACID, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE).Now go up to the ingredients list on this page and take a good look. First ingredient is WATER!!!!This is not the Ojon I fell in love with. This is just big business making money off of the Ojon name.
