Royal Apothic Perfect Gentleman Kit

First off let me say that I have no idea why the other reviewers left such negative feedback- I bought this kit for my husband and he absolutely loves it. The cologne is very clean and masculine, but not overwhelming. It's different from something I would usually buy him from the Bay, and I like the packaging- very unique. I personally can't speak to the shave cream but he seems to like it. Everything arrived in good working order and it smells amazing. Great kit!

I purchased this combination of shaving cream & scent as a birthday gift. When it arrived the scent had leaked all over the box. The Shopping Channel, without hesitation & at no charge, sent me another kit. The replacement arrived, leaking in the box as before.

The initial presentation on TV went into such detail, leaving no doubt that this was a must have purchase for the English gentleman who would settle for nothing less than the perfect shave. This was misleading to say the least. The scent at first whiff, is definitely not one that I would have purchased, although it seems to wear in better than expected. The shaving cream has proved effective when used in the shower and skin is at maximum hydration. The smell is pleasant.

Quality control seems sadly lacking & I would not repeat a purchase from Apothic, sadly. The product did not live up to the hype although if sold separately the shaving cream would have rated higher.

I was looking for a NEW cologne for my husband and wanted to give this one a try. Unfortunately, it's just not one either of us like. Nothing unique or special about it. Please bring us one with Vetiver in it....LOVE that in a man's fragrance. Plus, unfortunately there was spillage of the cologne in the box when I rec'd. it. Sorry, this is going back.
