Black yes, full lash and lengthening no
A huge disappointment. Did not lengthen lashes, no eyeliner look effect, it was clumpy and it ended up under my eye by late afternoon. Had to return it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This Mascara Is Amazing. I was really Scepatable about it at first but once i used it i am hooked.i cant believe how amazing my eye lashes look after using tightline. am hooked forever. I hope you bring back your 2 for one special. Thanks again.
Definately a learning curve
I think they way it is shown on tv is part of the problem with this product. It is not a mascara it is a primer. Yes, you can use it alone and you do get soft, natural looking, darkened lashes. I've never had an issue with flaking. There is no burning when my eyes get tired from the computer which is a bonus. There is a learning curve with the brush because it is so skinny and I keep turning it the wrong way. The larger end is the brush as mentioned in an earlier review. It takes longer to apply but I think that will change with getting used to the applicator. I like the skinny tube as it takes little room in the cosmetics bag. The mascara tube is very fat.If you are looking for a mascara, I would suggest purchasing a mascara no matter how this is marketed during the program.
Great for me...........
I find this product was great for me. I do not like the heavy feeling of mascara and found this to be light and non clumping. Thank you!
Save Your Money - Very Disappointing

I completely agree with Shelby. I usually use Jaime's mascara (love it), so I decided to give the primer a try, for that extra, eyeliner look. Well, if you go right to the base of the lash like you're supposed to, the product ends up on your lids. I wore it alone (no mascara on top) to test the wear of the product, and like Shelby experienced, mine flaked throughout the day. In addition, from the first application, you feel like you're scraping the bottom of the tube, the way a mascara feels when it's almost empty. I'd return it, but I've already spent enough on a substandard product without paying another $5 to return it. PS: I noticed that the models Jamie uses to demo this product, have very long lashes (even when bare.

Not That Great

Reading the other reviews, I am surprised at the great reviews. What is so great about this primer/mascara? It doesn't line the base of the lash like they say is does, and barely any product goes onto the brush when you pull it out of the tube. Flakes and smudges when on the lashes. Also, the tubes are tiny - pricey for the amount of product you get.

While the brush is unique, and it does give you natural looking, long lashes which I am happy with, the packaging is deceptive. Of the total product length, it's 2/3 wand and 1/3 product. All other brands I purchase have 1/3 wand, 2/3 product, or at least 50/50. For this reason, I can only give 3 stars, especially given the price.

I love the fact it is black and the wand so slim. I've used an eyelash primer previously from a highend line that was white and the brush very thick. I found this primer darkens my eyelashes but doesn't build them so I still like to use a mascara on top.

I too love this product. I am blonde and have fine invisible lashes, especially on the lower lid. This product get every one and even shows up some I didn't realize I had. Terrific!
