Call me crazy, like them
from Prince Albert
Actually, like these clips. My hair is about chin length and fairly thick. I find using 4-6 around the crown keeps my hair from looking flat thus avoiding the dreaded 'triangle" head and I need less hair spray! Are they fabulous quality?nope just average plastic and not sure how long the hinges will last, but they give you a ton of them, so I think it will be ok.

OK but not the greatest...
I have a slight natural wave to my medium length hair, which is quite thick, so these clips did work for me. However, they were not the high quality product I've come to expect from The Shopping Channel. The clips are a cheap, hard plastic which I hope will not break over time but I guess that remains to be seen. The other thing that was missing from the kit, that I found disappointing, was any type of how-to instructions. It would have been nice to have. I did go on uTube for some examples and found that the simple pin curl technique worked quite well with these clips.Overall, I found this product to hold the curl well while drying but feel the quality is not the greatest. Instructions would have been nice too as I didn't remember the method they used when I first saw them on TV.
Rip Your Hair Out
I used the brush and It took a lot of hair out and didn't use it on my entire head. My hair is short and can't afford to lose. If I am able to return it I will, the clamps are plastic and very large would not be great for short hair.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
