Fabulous - but...
from Ottawa, Ontario
Without a doubt, these are THE best walking shoes I've ever owned. They've completely corrected my pronation (no more plantar fasciitis - hooray!), and are so lightweight I may as well be wearing sandals. Did I mention that they make your feet look dainty, in comparison to other walkers? I have only one complaint - but it is a doozy: they smell really, really bad. That's not a problem I've had with any boots or shoes (past or present), so the issue is with the materials used in this particular shoe. For that reason only, I wouldn't buy this wonderful shoe again, because 'stinkfoot' simply isn't acceptable.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Love these shoes
from Whitby, Ontario
Bought these shoes several months ago but didn't wear them until recently. I find them extremely comfortable, and have received many compliments - I have the black/teal color. Very happy with my purchase.

I wore these everyday on my east coast trip back in September. They were truly comfortable and stylish. My only complaint was that my regular size 9 fit just a bit short. I wore light socks so it wasn't an issue but because I received these 2 weeks before my trip I didn't have time to exchange them. I'd go up 1/2 a size for true comfort.

SO FAR SO GREAT!
When I unwrapped my new Orthaheel Walkers, I was delighted with them as the colour I had chosen didn't have a picture on the website. I find the sizing is accurate and fits "true to size". I've only been out for a couple of walks since purchasing the shoes but find they are very comfortable and seem to allow me to walk further with fewer repercussions than my other walking shoes. So my assessment is "so far, so great". Thanks to TSC for introducing me to this brand.
very comfortable but ...
great shoe but with other orthaheel shoes, my true size is 6 which is perfect in their sandals.but in closed shoes like loafers and runners, go up a size. the 6.5 with socks was tight so I did a size 7. love the shoe, very comfortable and light weight. easy to walk in. but just that tad too big. kept them anyway as it is the closest best fit I have had.
Unsure of Fitting
I ordered the charcoal in 7.5M, my normal size. I find Dr. Weil shoes to have a different fit, slightly wider in the heel. The length was fine. The orthotic part seems a bit too far back compared to the Orthaheel Mary Jane Mule arch support. I wore the runner in the house for awhile. I found my heels kept slipping up no matter how tight I tied them. I liked the light weight factor, the look, and how it was made. Every shoe can not fit every person. That is why there are so many shoes out there to choose from. I would have liked them to have fit, but they didn't and therefore had to be returned.

WORST PURCHASE I'VE MADE IN A LONG TIME!
By Still trying to keep walking......
from Calgary, AB
When I first put these shoes on, they felt great. I thought I "good, I finally found a pairs of shoes to go walking". Much to my dismay, the longer I wear them the more they hurt. Quite honestly I would return the shoes if I didn't have to dispose of all cardboard in my home too soon after receiving them.

Not as good a fit as the other runners
Have bought a few pairs of the other runners which fit perfectly but these walkers do not fit true to size. I have worn size 6 all my adult life and when I ordered these walkers in size 6, my toes were pushing against the front of the walker. I also have a high arch and these shoes just aren't as comfortable. Unfortunately the other runners have been out of stock forever.
Love these shoes!
I'm old and have knee issues, but when I put these shoes on, immediately there was no pain. Apparently, the foot bone and ankle bones really are connected to the knee bone ("now hear the word da-dada...)and if the support in the shoe brings about the proper alignment, locomotion improves right away. That works for me. I'm a believer and will buy more Orthaheel shoes. Even at these prices.
Very comfortable and attractive to the e
Agree with other customer. I do have OTC also but can't wear them to run. These running shoes actually allow me to run which I have not been able to do since PF and heel spur occurred. They also make foot look much smaller
