DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's been almost a full year of very, consistent treatments on the highest level. I thought previously that time and patience would pay off but it has not. The only area I have worked on has been my upper lip and chin. I have the same amount of hair if not more from continuous shaving for the treatment. I spoke with a couple of Tria representatives and they said that treatments were required up to two years. They don't tell you this on tv.I am very dissatisfied with the product and would NEVER RECOMMEND IT!I will have to have professional treatments done as I have no choice.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My first thought was, "Wow! Kim Kardashian is standing behind this product, so it much be good." I have had professional treatments in the past and was really excited to get an at home product I could use without spending tons of money per treatment. I am not new to laser so I decided to jump to the highest setting (as I have had treatments in a salon before). For those who are not new to laser it is recommend you start off at the lowest setting. I bought this as I have had self confidence issues with my body hair. I am a perfect candidate as my hair is dark, and my skin is white. It does mention you can use this on your face, I tried to remove my beard and was unsuccessful. So I went back to professional stronger treatments.I continued to use the Tria on my chest and had zero luck. The battery does not last long, for about 30 minutes, and it is a hassle having to recharge it for 2 hours. I am really let down by this product and the things I would change about this product if I could would be:1. The laser needs to be bigger and stronger. It is so small it takes forever to complete an area.2. The battery needs to have a better life.Knowing what I know now I really wish I never spent the money I did on this product and I wish I was able to return it. I will put my money toward professional stronger products and get the results I want.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE and would highly recommend them to go see a professional.

Hurts but works!
About me: 30 year old woman in rural Canada- I have no option of getting professional treatment so I figured tria would be "good enough". I purchased tria to use on my underarms and bikini area. I have very dark coarse hair in these areas. I have very white/pale skin.Initial impression: the unit is large and does not hold a charge for very long. I can't imagine it being very efficient for use on larger areas like legs or arms.I used setting 4 on my underarms. After a few pulses, I felt like I was burning my skin. Forget "elastic band snapping"; this felt like a just-extinguished match head pressed against the skin. I turned the setting to 3 to ensure I wouldn't wake up with inflamed skin. It hurt a lot!!Results: after my first two treatments hairs were simply falling off. It was amazing. After three treatments I have about a 50% reduction in hair. I am very happy with this considering how thick, coarse, dense and dark this hair was. For my fourth treatment, I was able to use setting 4. I no longer have the constant five o'clock shadow look on my underarms.I was very skeptical about this product since many reviews seem fake. I tried it because of the warranty, easy pay, and the fact that my skin seemed the perfect type. I cannot tolerate waxing due to sensitive skin. I will continue to use this weekly. It has been a worthwhile investment in time and money,
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Taking a long time to see results!
I bought this laser product directly from Tria. I have been using it faithfully for 5 1/2 months now, twice a week on level 5. I have used level 5 from the get-go. I have to say firstly, I have had a lot of emotional struggles having to shave my face and upper lip to receive treatments. I can say that I can see a 50% improvement. But... the areas that were originally blond and very fine are now dark and thicker. Now....I have to treat those shaved areas. I feel like I am going to have to use this tool for a year to maybe be hair free. But...once you start, you have no choice really but to continue. I am very diligent though. Will write a review again later. You MUST make a commitment to use it faithfully and persevere.

time and patience
pined over this for some time the price was hefty for something you may not be sure of. However, I am starting to see results after 3 months but 3 weeks in there I skipped out. The head should be interchangeable with a larger one for legs and arms ect,the battery only lasts about 30 mins at a time it's annoying to be halfway through your leg or arm and it dies. It heats up quick and start to slow down while you pulse. I find it a waste of time for that. If it pulsed as it should everytime you lift pulse, it would be fast. It does however seem to work longterm, and this one is going to take me at least 6 months and not the 3 it promises to work in.Setting 5 hurts underarms and other sensitive areas, I try to use 4-5 as much as I can in hopes it will speed up the results. My upper lip so far seems the most noticeable area it is working and on my arms its getting patchy meaning some hairs are not growing back and others are coming in. I cannot wait til I am DONE!

It seams OK but I have not had it long enough to know if it really works as well as going to get laser by a professional.
Waiting for results!
from Kingston, ON
I'm a 38 year old male who used to go to laser clinic in Toronto and didn't like paying $150+ per session, who does anyway?I wanted to give this a try and see how it goes, I have been using it on level 3, I'll see it goes and write a second review in a few more weeks.PS. Ice the area you are treating just before you use it, it can hurt..... A LOT!

Yes Girls ...it really works !!!! A+
I was really nervous to buy this ......but I'm glad I did :)I've been using it on my underarms on setting 3 and wow what a difference. I did 6 treatments and the hair is almost gone ...I have maybe 2 or 3 treatments left until I'm hair free for good...yay!!!!!...just remember it takes time and patience ...you need to do it once a week to see good results ....don't get cranky if you don't see results after one treatment ....your reading this because you want to know if it works ...the answer is YES IT DOES :)

Did Not Work
I used this product strictly following the instructions as to treatment intervals, increasing the strength settings and target pulse counts on a weekly basis for four months straight. I have no reduction of hair in any treatment area. The laser itself was working however it produced no visible results for me. The treatments were painful at times and I find that the laser is heating up too fast now and is burning my skin on contact. Not worth the money !
