Though it was a freebie, part of a kit..I, too was surprised of this less than quality brush and cheap plastic stand. IT cosmetics is excellent, especially the brushes, so this one definitely was a mistake in my opinion.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This brush is garbage. I love every it brush I have received in the past, however, this one does not live up to it standards. Don't waste your money.

Dollar store item..?
I am a huge fan of IT cosmetics but absolutely think this fan brush is useless and pointless! It was counted as 1 of 5 pieces in a Showstopper kit...? Why? The "hair" is not even hair but feels like a cheap plastic type material. It did Nothing for the application of the primer. The primer as well was very questionable. Very greasy and thick and did not absorb well into the skin. Had to remove it with a paper towel cuz it was NOT absorbing! Please don't throw in "junk" (fan brush) in this case to justify the price of the kit. That brush is worth just a few pennies. The PLASTIC stand it came with was also penny quality and impractical.., I threw it out. There went 2 pieces of my Showstopper kit; money in the trash.

I got this fan brush in a recent S.Stopper and was surprised to see how IT promoted such an impractical tool.. it offers next to no function that I could discern. The fan brush is also well below the usual quality of other IT cosmetic brushes and tools.I also was disappointed in the shiny finish which the new IT primer/ serum delivers..no matter how long it is left to dry on my normal to dry skin it continues to have a slick and unnatural finish even after applying makeup. I much prefer orchid gel's..blurred /h.d. complexion primer finish... which consistently performs with or without applying makeup.I would not recommend either the IT serum/primer nor the accompanying "sensory"?? experience fan brush.
Not good quality
I received this as part of the showstopper. It was port quality and the stand was a piece of plastic. Was not impressed. Returned the set. I do like several of items in this line but not this.Do not recommend.

Unable to see a purpose for it....
from New Brunswick
Received this brush/stand in a recent show stopper pkg along with a Primer Serum and thought maybe it would help to evenly distribute the primer over the skin but, being extremely feather weight light, small and 'flat', it doesn't seem to be of any use whatsoever. Supposed to give a spa sensation for us??? Certainly would have been much better to have received an actual product we could used instead. Note: Primer Serum is wonderful though but applied with the fingers not this brush.

This brush is OK. Featured in a recent ss with a primer, this brush does what it's supposed to, but I could live without it and have mascara or lip gloss included instead!!

This brush was included in the recent SS. It supposedly was to "give you the feel of a spa experience" when applying the liquid primer. What a waste. It was counted as 1 piece of a 5 piece SS, I believe in an attempt to make it appear you were getting more product for the price. You only use a small drop of primer & spread it over the face with your fingers (even the models in the demo did not use the brush). I guess you were supposed to use it to brush your face after that, to pretend you were in a spa? How ridiculous; either my spa experiences are completely different from Jaime's or my imagination needs help. Most of us are too busy for frivolous, unnecessary steps like that when trying to head out the door.
