Elise Limited Edition 100% Wool Rug with Bonus 2x3 Accent Rug

Unfortunately when I purchased this rug, I thought I would have it for a very long time. It sheds way too much; I need to buy more vacuum bags because so far I filled 3 of them with this carpet. Don't think you can sit on this carpet you will need a very good brush to get the hair off. What makes this problem worse is that Maine Street Living guarantees the carpet for 6 months, I have tried to phone them twice, leave email and the sales representative never, never, never returned my calls or messages. That tells me everything about the company. I am totally disappointed, I had previously put a comment saying I would buy again. NEVER! The warranty says 6 months and now it's 6 months passed. I am hoping the President of the Shopping Channel gets my note soon and he will do something about this problem.

This is the second rug I've ordered and I'm happy with the size, colour, design, construction and the price. It is so much nicer than any comparable rugs in retail stores. Only regular vacuuming is required; I've not seen any excess fluff.

I have had to return the carpet because it had a hole in the bottom, because we liked the colour so much we reordered you do need to thoroughly vacuum at least once a week because it sheds as the gentleman said on TSC, but we enjoy walking barefeet on this carpet.

I had been searching for a area carpet that would pull together the look of my newly painted walls and recently puchased burgandy leather living room outfit when I found this rug. Since both my son and I are sensitive to wool I was hesitant to purchase it but am pleased to say we have not had any negative reactions. The rose colours blend into my decor beautifully and the smaller carpet welcomes guests into my home. It is easy to maintain and very comfortable on bare feet. Although my newly decorated living room is lovely, it is the carpet that people first comment on when they walk into the room.

I found this rug to be of very poor quality, colour is faded, white streaks running through, I guess you get what you pay for, after watching the demo I expected more, would not recommend

I ordered the ivory the larger one is great - the small bonus carpet I find it is darker than the larger one but it will still work - would order again when they appear as a showstopper!

I bought 2 the chocolate and the ivory one. They are very good quaility. Well worth the money. Can't wait for them to go on sale so I can buy two more.

I just received my 2 area rugs today we got the 8 X 10 and the 5 X 7 and it also came with 2 smaller rugs and I love them, they are so beautiful and plush, I ended up ordering the mataching runner , the burgandy is so dark and lovely, will definitely order again next time they are on,

I am so very upset right now!!! {pls read below}I called to order some rugs when the show aired between 1 & 2pm EST.I wanted to order 1) Elise 6' Octagon Hand Carved Rug! in chocolate with 2) 2x7 runners for my bedroom & I also wanted to order1) Elise Limited Edition 100% Wool Rug with Bonus 2x3 Accent Rug in Taupe.7'9"x9"6" for under my dining room table.Our Price:$369.96 - $599.96Today's Showstopper$199.99 - $329.996 Payments of $33.33I waited 25 minutes in que before my call was answered.I called in lots of time so I would not loose out on the colour matches.. During the start of my order, I heard "Gary" on air say something about friction and heat, along with moisture, so if you purchase a rug you should purchase the under pad as well.. I informed the tsc rep about what I had just heard on my t.v. "gary & tanya" had just mentioned on air & could she find out if having in floor heating would be ok with these rugs as they are wool. She attempted to find out but told me that I should hold and that she would send me to air to talk with Gary. A recording came on that they were not taking on air calls and was disconnected. So, I called back, waited another 20 minutes on hold and then I told the second tsc rep what happened. Her reply was that I should wait for 10 minutes after the show was finished airing and call back and that I could personally speak to Gary myself and he could answer my questions. I asked her how many were left of the colour that i wanted and she told me 109 so I watched the rest of the show and right at 2:00pm EST. I called for the third time and another 30 minute wait on hold because everyone was so busy.. Randy the tsc rep answered my call and I explained everything to him and that I have some Questions for Gary.. His reply was " you have to call while the show is airing to speak to Gary," Randy stated that he could not do what I was asking of him (to speak to Gary). So, very frustrated I went to my computer to read all of the facts on the rugs hoping that there might be an answer there.. To my DISMAY!!! The chocolate colour that i wanted SO MUCH for my bedroom was no longer available. Well, right now I am in tears because I wanted those rugs so badly.My husband and myself just built a new 4,000 sq ft home and those rugs would have looked so beautiful in my home.. I have recently just returned to the shopping channel as you were taken off of cable I could not watch your show and then I had a stroke (just to explain my absence over the last while.) Now, it is great to get you on my t.v via sattlite ..I have been purchasing from the shopping channel for quite a few years now and I have never run into an issue like I did today...I am sure that you can appreciate my question after Gary stated on air that the rugs wear from the inside out and that the under pad would keep any moisture out of the rug that was created by heat and friction. In floor heating is new to me and I have hardwood floors though out my entire home.You can go to every room in my home and find something from tsc.. People comment on my decorating and ask where did i get such nice items and of course I tell them from the shopping channel... I am very proud of what I have purchased over the years from TSC..I am sooooo very disappointed that I missed out on these beautiful rugs.I do hope that they will be back but it is your 25th birthday and the price is will not be the same...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Debbie Morin,
