The Dyson groom tool is a vacuum-assisted dog groomer. Slicker bristles remove loose hair directly from your dog before it's shed around the home. It then self cleans, sucking hair from the bristles straight into your vacuum. No mess.

Includes:
• Dyson Groom Tool

Captures allergens during grooming
Suction is split during grooming. Enough suction is directed into the dog's coat to capture dead skin cells without the tool sticking. Removing dead skin cells prevents the spread of allergens and helps make your dog look healthier.

Spring-loaded trigger
The spring-loaded trigger gives control over bristle length without having to fiddle around with switches or buttons. Just push down or lift your thumb. Automatically retracts bristles for self-clean and storage modes.

One-hand control

The spring-trigger is thumb-operated, so you can adjust bristle length and switch between groom and self-clean modes with one hand. The other hand is free to keep your dog stationary for easier grooming.

Slicker bristles
364 slicker bristles with a diameter of 0.011 inches are positioned in two rows. They remove loose hair in fewer strokes, which is more comfortable for your dog.

They’re angled at 35 degrees, so when pressure is applied the bristles flex to an upright position – penetrating the entire coat and grabbing loose hairs.

For medium or long haired dogs

Changing thumb pressure on the spring-loaded trigger extends or withdraws the slicker bristles. The length required depends on dog breed. Longer haired dogs need a longer bristle length to remove loose hairs from the undercoat. The Dyson groom tool should not be used on short-haired dogs.

Storage mode
Remove your thumb from the spring trigger and the bristles are pulled back into the tool. Unlike the bristles on ordinary groomers, they won't get damaged during storage or spread captured hair and allergens.
A better way to vacuum

For 92 years everyone accepted that vacuum cleaners lost suction quickly, but James thought that was ridiculous - there had to be a better way.

“I was frustrated with my vacuum cleaner - it quickly clogged with dust, destroying the suction and leaving dirt behind. So I set about developing an entirely new type of vacuum cleaner to solve the problem. More than 5,000 prototypes later I had it - the first vacuum cleaner that doesn't clog and doesn't lose suction.”

BRILLIANT!

By Callie

from Newmarket, Ontario

Dog hair had become an accessory in our house. I love my Dyson Animal Vac and my Dyson Hand Held. Now the dog is being vacuumed. She's still getting used to it because I usually shoo her away when the vacuum is running. Thank you Mr.Dyson!

Wonderful for cats too!

By MARISSA

from OTTAWA

I already have a Dyson vacuum and hand-held. This attachment can be used on either one. My cats were already used to being groomed with the Dyson hand-held and are fine with this attachment also. They let me use it on them whether it is attached to the hand-held or the vacuum. It removes a lot of hair from the cats - I highly recommend this. Thank you Dyson!

Amazing tool. Works very well.

By LL

from Vars, Ontario

My German Shepherd sheds a lot and is not fond of the vacuum cleaner so I put the machine itself behind a door and just let the hose out. She got used to it after just a couple of minutes and began to enjoy the grooming. The bin was full of dog hair in no time. Hardly any had escaped on the floor and the dog looked fabulous. I'm glad I spent the $ on this attachment.

Dyson Grooming Tool

By Maureen

from Thunder Bay, Ontario

Silver Reviewer

this is truly the BEST attachment to my dyson especially when it comes to grooming my shepherd who sheds constantly. i was amazed to see how much loose fur it removes and was very pleased indeed. brushing her in the house at this time of year is such a mess, but with the brissles and the suction of the dyson hose, it was truly amazing to use and quick. it removes just about anything even to quickly remove fur from furniture. very glad i purchased this addition.
