Renu-It PRO and Junior Home Battery Regenerators

works like they demonstrated. very easy to use. i was leery at first, thinking the batteries would explode; however i am very thrilled with this product. it has almost already paid for itself!!

I had purchased one for myself quite a while ago and decided to give this for a gift. They are ok however, charge does not last long. Needs some improvement

I too noticed that the charge does not last long even though the devices show you when the battery is fully charged. I also recommend you charge it through the day or overnight as it seems to work better then.

I purchased this item for two reasons, to reduce the amount of batteries sent to land fills and to save money. I tried the junior one first, at first it seemed ok, but the batteries did not actually charge. So I then took the batteries out of the junior and put it into the bigger one, the batteries did charge, but they don't seem to be very strong, I used the batteries in a hand held fan, and the batteries died very quickly.

Got batteries in no problem. As for the charging, they got what was supposedly a full charge but in fact the batteries barely worked at all. Too late to send back. I thought the Shopping Channel would try these products and make sure they really work before having customers who trust them buy a piece of junk.

Bought one for myself... Only held a charge for a couple of hours. Bought two for gifts.Heard back today from one person that it doesn't work.I'm out a lot of money on this junk as it's too late to send them back.

I tried D cell and AAA batteries in the big and small units respectively and they both charged well and held the original charge time, however I had great difficulty in plcing the D-cells into the charge slots and the second time I tried one of the contact prongs in the large unit broke off. Poor workmanship for the price!

The regenerator 'seems' to have charged the C and D batteries, however, not so with the AA batteries. So am returning both for an exchange, with the hopes that the ones I do receive will work properly. IF NOT.....I will return them for a refund.
There were an awful lot of these sold, and only 2 negative reviews, which leads me to believe that maybe we got a 'dud'.....hoping that's all it is.
I can't recommend to a friend at this point in time....... I will have to wait and see if the exchanged set works better than the first.

I would rate this 0 stars if I could. The large unit seemed to work initially but the batteries were certainly not "99.5% regenerated" as indicated in their sales pitch, as they only worked for 1/2 the time that the originals worked. The small unit actually caused a battery to explode and spray acid. Thankfully we were in the same room and watched it happen and no one was hurt by it. This was definitely too good to be true!
