A Fabulous Gift

By Lover of Life

from Toronto, ON

I am so intrigued whenever the Coin Show is aired. My mother was an avid coin collector and I remember fondly her sitting at the dining room table with her plastic gloves gently inserting each encased coin into their respective rosewood boxes.

I purchased the Toronto Argo "Commemorative 100th Anniversary of the Grey Cup" for my father and he got such a kick out of it. It was the first time I actually saw my father surprised and intrigued at a Father's Day gift in a long time.

I also purchased the OH Canada coin set when first aired and I just love receiving each beautiful coin with the card describing the historic story about each icon on the coin.

I may just start following in my Mother's footsteps and begin coin collecting as a serious hobby!!!

Thank you for the painstaking efforts and incredible collections brought to the TSC by Mr. Bromberg. He is a brilliant historian and a pride to Canada for knowing and sharing his incredible knowledge of each and every coin and collection. Mr. Bromberg never ceases to amaze me with the fascinating facts and stories of Canadian history and the importance of every item he brings to us.

Thank you Mr. Bromberg.
