This is a complete original mint box of Canada's last one cent coins struck at the Royal Canadian Mint, date stamped on the very last day of production, May 4th, 2012. This original mint box contains 50 mint rolls of brilliant uncirculated 2012 copper plated zinc one cent coins. A six piece collection of historic "last issue" cent coins is also included. The bonus coins start a 1910 large cent, being the last coin to feature King Edward VII. The next coin is dated 1920, the last large cent ever issued in Canada. The 1936 cent is included, being the last of the old style design before the maple twig design was introduced in 1937.  A 1952 cent features the final effigy of King George VI, a 1964 cent features the last young portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth, and a 1996 represents the last issue ever struck in copper.

After a 154 year history, Canada's one cent coin was officially discontinued on May 4, 2012. While 2012 mintage figures have not yet been released, these coins were nearly impossible to find in change, reminiscent of the rare 1991 quarter (which now sells for about $500 per roll). These coins are expected to be the lowest mintage in many decades.

• Original mint boxes include standard shrink wrap rolls (without any special wrap).

Also Included is a six piece "last issues" One Cent Collection:
1) 1910 Large Cent - King Edward VII last date of issue
2) 1920 Large Cent - King George V last large cent issue
3) 1936 Small Cent - King George V last issue of design
4) 1952 Cent - King George VI last cent issue
5) 1964 Cent - Last Laureate Portrait issue
6) 1996 Cent - Last Copper Cent issue

Includes:
• Scarce 2012 1¢ Original Mint Box Date Stamped on Last Day of Issue plus Bonus Coins
