Just a Little Bit More!
from Calgary (Alberta)
I recently purchased a pair of Tony Little's Barefoot trainers and decided that today was the day I would test them out at my gym. I was very curious to know how they would stand up to the treadmill and if there would be any noticeable difference between my trusty old Nike's and my spiffy new BT's. Well was I ever surprised! Not only was there a difference in the way my posture was corrected (no longer was I just going through the motions of lifting one foot and putting it down again) but the shoes actually encouraged my foot to hit a natural stride and rhythm, almost as though I was walking barefoot (go figure!). I also noticed that the lower half of my body got one heck of a workout while wearing these shoes. I was forced to actually engage my lower body, hips, thighs, calves and put a more conscious effort into getting myself up that incline instead of just plodding along and letting my Nike's do all the work for me. Same thing on the Arc Trainer. I noticed that the shoes actually guided my body to assume the correct posture, keeping me in alignment while my feet stayed firmly planted on the foot pedals. It just felt more natural to do so! I felt so good after that workout - I walked home from the gym in them!

Not good for walking!
This shoe looks very nice but is not comfortable at all for walking! They are the worst shoes I have ever had. Also the notes said to order them half a size larger which is totally wrong. I'm very sorry that I purchased these shoes and will not buy Tony Little trainers again.

This is my second pair...couldn't resist clearance pricing! Due to this protracted winter I have only padded about in the house. As a minimalist shoe, it does not have much support. I like the black with the teal trim...it's a spiffier look for what is just a runner. The sizing is true...got my usual 9.5...good width, should wear with a thin sock or possibly barefoot. May have an update if take with on a weekend away.

Nice light runner
I ordered black with purple trim. Pretty spiffy. I have a wider foot and ordered my regular size. There are no issues with the width at all. The length is good but I could never wear with a heavier sock. They are really lightweight and flexible.Coming from someone who has had heel issues,I agree with other reviewers that there would not be enough support if you were standing/walking on hard surfaces for long periods of time. If you use a "barefoot" mentality, you should be fine. This was a great purchase for the price, received them very quickly and just may order another pair in a lighter colour.

I purchased two pairs of these for walking on my treadmill and they are perfect for that! I don't wear them outside or to work, wouldn't have enough support for me for that. Very comfortable though, like wearing slippers and are very light weighted. I would definetely. Buy these again.

This is the second time I've purchase these shoes. I bought a black one a few months ago & really liked them so I bought another white pair. I did go a half size up & the fit was perfect. I only wear them indoors. It's soft, breathable and comfortable to wear around the house. If you need more support you can always put some inserts. Really glad I took the chance and tried them out. no regrets :)
excellent for cross training
from British Columbia
I have small, flat square feet. These shoes are true to size. I have searched far and wide for a shoe that wouldn't blister my feet. I do a lot of cross training (P90x,Insanity,Turbo-fire,focus T-25) I have worn these shoes for all of these workouts and have yet to be disappointed. Very light weight and breathable.(I have however only used them indoor) Usually by now I would have blisters starting from "new shoe rub"but I haven't with these. I've had these for a few months now, I train 7 days a week and I love love love these shoes!

Couldn't wear these

Bought 2 pairs of these and I thought they would be exactly what I need. Wore a pair around the house for 1 day and I knew they weren't for me. They felt great when I first put them on….they do feel like you are walking around bare feet. The next day my heels hurt so much I could hardly walk…no support whatsoever. If you have not problems with your feet I guess these would be OK but if you have any type of heel problems forget it.
Only trainer I will wear!
Have written comments in the past on rhese and were so happy tomsee them.back I was ordering more even though stuck in hospital at that time! Great for training although i also wear them everywhere they are so comfortable! Washes great and have never had to go through that "breaking in" period I usually do with other shoes. I also agree with Rosalee and find I like them while doing yoga.Never stop bringing these shoes Tony, they are the best my only complaint is to bring some back in white with other colors like white and pink or white with teal trim...I did manage to get a pajr of your white and blue you once had..that was when I first discoverd the TSC and your products. I have the black, black and purple, couple pairs of white and a white blue, grey and pink, and grey and teal.. alot I know but do not want these to disappear and not come back! Please consider bringing i white with other color trim. Thank you!
