Barr + Barr Barrel Satchel

This is a fantastic bag. I love the shape and design, the leather is very good quality. The lock was missing from my purchase, however, I dont think I would have used it. Its a really nice bag inside and out. I get compliments all the time when I use this bag.

I really like this bag. The handles feel very comfortable, the bag keeps its shape like it should. It's surprisingly roomy inside and well organized overall. However, it would be even better if the lining would be solid colour, to make finding items inside much easier. I got mine in Caramel colour, and it is slightly different from the one shown on the website. In real life, the brown/beige is a bit more neutral, less yellow, not as caramel-ly and not as saturated. Nevertheless, it is still quite attractive. The little keys for the lock tend to get stuck in that lock.

My love affair with Barr & Barr started with the very first bag I ever purchased from this line. I now have all the colors that were offered in this style. Ladies, as mentioned by a previous reviewer, it is a bit stiff, but the style needs to be this way to retain its' shape. I can fit a lot inside, (without it looking awkward) it's easy to carry, and blends well with whatever you are wearing. It feels like it has been custom designed for you! Oddly enough, I find myself even paying attention to my posture that much more, simply by the way you carry it as it graces your arm in such a feminine way. As for care, I highly recommend you treat it with leather care products, this line with remain a classic in your wardrobe for a long time. I now have several bags from this collection, (about 7-8) all recently acquired only within the past 2 months. (Did I mention the love affair?) The runways of Paris, Milan, London and New York will come to you! Stellar quality and class with respectable prices! Thank you Ms. Barr and the Shopping Channel!

I bought this classic bag in caramel. It reminds me of the quality items previous generations owned for decades. There are many beautiful bags out there that will not hold up for a fraction of the time that this one will! It's beautiful and elegant with lots of space, and I really appreciate all the media pockets inside.

I have to mention two things I would have appreciated if given the choice: One is if the strap could be adjusted a little shorter than it currently allows, and the other is if there were a quicker and easier way to attach the key fob to the inside of the bag. However, I couldn't bear to withhold a star for these as the bag is far superior to others I have purchased for more money. Thank you Helen, I'll be back!

This bag is very luxurious. The leather is light weight which is important since often we ladies put too much in our purses. I also appreciate the long removable strap as it makes the bag more flexible to use. The five media pockets allow for easy retrieval of frequently used items.

I would say that this purse would be classed as a medium size bag.

This is my second purchase from this line and I would not hesitate to add another of their purses to my collection.

I received this lovely bag in red yesterday. The beautiful smooth leather is a clear red colour with no orange undertone. The quality hardware is a smooth polished gold tone. The bag was thoughtfully planned and is easy to use. For instance when you open the zippers, you can easily reach in without the zippers getting in the way. It wears well as a shoulder or cross body and even though it is a substantial bag, it is not too weighty and balances well. It is a yummy looking bag!! This is an investment piece which will be caried often. I am thrilled to own this classy bag from a designer who is so dedicated to her craft. Thank you Helen and TSC for bringing us these high end hand bags.
