With three corporate stores in Toronto, Canada, and an ever-growing wholesale business that spans the United States and Canada, Franco Mirabelli continues to distinguish himself as one of Canada's strongest fashion design talents.

After studying design at the prestigious American school Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, Franco was approached to be a design assistant. After several years of training with Donna Karan and Lous Dell'Olio, Franco returned to his hometown and launched the FRANCO MIRABELLI collection.

His design talents have also been brought in to create original staff uniforms for the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, Canada's first and only opera house, and he was selected to create the visual look for the front-of-house staff at Toronto's first five-star hotel, The Hazelton, and at Mark McEwan's "One" Restaurant.

The Fashion Group International of Toronto has honoured his achievements with a tribute evening: the Night of Stars. He has been awarded a Man of Style Award for his dapper personal style, and he was presented with a City of Toronto Industry Achievement award for Excellence in Fashion Design. He has also been named Designer of the Year by the City of Toronto, and has won the Arts and Culture Award from the Italian Chamber of Commerce.

He is a strong believer in giving back to the community that has supported him and has a long history of supporting numerous charities. He has lent both his product and his time to raising funds for events, such as the Celebration of Hope Fashion Show for the Markham Stouffville Hospital, Windfall Clothing, the National Ballet School, the Children's Miracle Network, the Hospital for Sick Kids, CANFAR, Red Cross International, the Teddy Bear Affair for the Children's Aid Foundation, the United Way, FACE, Fashion Cares, and the Canadian Cancer Society.

Mirabelli's label has developed a reputation as a hip, sophisticated line. His designs reflect his European roots, with an emphasis on luxurious European fabrics and precise tailoring. His signature style has been described as elegant, modern, and sexy.

Well....Free shipping...so I came back and tried a size down to an 8 and wow. It was the size I needed all along and I am so glad I did re-order. Fit great and the price was even better this time too. Thanks so much for this quality line.

Really nice look

I am giving this jacket a five because the material, colour and the style are right on. I have to say though that it is not quite right for my tall slimmish frame. Ordered my regular size ten and its great in the shoulders and chest but a little too loose at the waist and hips so it hangs a bit too much on me..... so I have to send it back.... but it is so edgy and cool that I hate to do it. On a curvy girl this would be the look that makes your figure. In the video, you can see Cathy in the slate grey is a beautiful close curvy fit but it is very roomy on the other gal and the gal in the above still shot, though all three usually wear the same size. Oh and cut of the upper arm is really comfortable for ease of movement and the fit is more generous and is adjustable for a fuller waist.

Unique and exquisite!

I was really looking forward to receiving this jacket. It looked great on air and I really liked how the style was so unique. Unfortunately, it was WAY too BIG on me, so with great hesitation, I had to send it back. The feel of the garment was extremely nice; it's just too bad it didn't come in a smaller size. If I could give one suggestion, I would love to see XS (size 4) in Franco Mirabelli's line. I find the size 6 is just a little too big …but I LOVE his style.

I am still going to give this item a 5 star! The quality and feel of the garment is amazing! I would highly recommend it for those who are a true size 6. You will fall in love with it.
