Marallis 2 Piece Fashion Overlay Capelet with Sleeveless Dress

I ordered it in small, even though I was going to order it in medium because of the size chart, but I am glad I ordered the small. It is beautiful, elegant and unique. The caplet is stunning and the pattern on the dress is diagonal which helps to hide figure flaws.I got it on sale and I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

If you're not 36-24-36 and 5'10" you may want to look elsewhere. I have many pieces from Marallis but this was my worst ever outfit. Even in a XXL the dress was like a sausage casing. Much too tight and showed every one of my flaws.

Note: Having said that I ordered another Marallis dress in a different style and in a size down from this one and it practically fell off of me. WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THESE SIZES ?? I will be returning both of these dresses.

Had to order in two sizes because of Marillis sizing inconsistency, my regular size plus next size up. Did not like the straight dress or the style of the capelet. Liked the material.

Ordered the dress in Black as I thought the capelet was so unique and that I'd get lots of wear out of it. When received I was surprised that the outfit has very fine sparkles/glitter. I wanted to wear the capelet with a long tee over jeans with high boots..still might try it. Capelet actually looks as good with the zipper in the front as it does in the back :)
I ordered the dress in XL for bust 42 but its too roomy in the hips. I will get out my sewing machine and take in the hip curves. The dress is sharp an I'll wear it to an upcoming wedding.

A quality garment and a keeper ...wish I had ordered it in the purple too now !

I needed a dress for a special wedding and this dress and capelet is perfect. I have recently had extensive, deforming surgery on my arm and I wanted a dress that would be easy to put on with my limitations and one that would cover up the effects of the surgery. The dress slips on easily as does the capelet (without unzipping it). I ordered a small and it looks like it was custom-made! (5'4", 115 lbs.). Since it is a sleeveless dress, it won't be too warm with the cover-up, even in the summer. I haven't been celebrating lately, so I am really excited about enjoying a special day with my family, knowing that I will feel beautiful. The exposed zipper on the capelet adds a "fashion-forward" detail, and makes a dress that could look quite formal into one that is appropriate for many occasions. Love it! Love it! Love it!

Although I don't often wear dresses I ordered this two piece mainly for the capelet which can be worn over a top and pants and it is just beautiful. I ordered the black as it will be more useful combined with other items in my wardrobe. I am a plus sized senior and ordered the 2XL and feel it will be a great addition to my holiday wardrobe.
