Brian Bailey Sophie Dolman Sleeve Tunic with bateau neck & belt

I normally wear large or extra large in the BB line. Another reviewer that seemed to be the same size ordered down to medium, but the medium was sold out when I was on-line so I got the large in both the stripes and black. The fit in the large, and the styling are perfect for me. The fabric was not what I expected. I thought it would be a standard polyester, but it's more like a ponte knit. No lumps and bumps are visible through this fabric. The striped tunic is more for summer, based on the pattern, but the black and houndstooth could be worn all year round. Very comfortable. As I sit here wearing the tunic, it feels as good as one of my favourite flannel nightgowns. I have never been one for leggings, but this tunic is long enough and substantial enough that there are no modesty issues. Excellent purchase.

I have the Brian Bailey Sophie top with bateau neck and dolman sleeve in black. I only took a medium in the top and I usually take a large or xlarge in Brian Bailey fashions. The length is good and I am 5ft1. I like it witth Bailey black straght pants and heels or skinny pants and animal print flats. I think it is sLimming and I think I will get a lot of wear out of it.

This tunic/dress is absolutly beautiful. The tailering is detailed and you can see the high quality and attention to detail that Brian is known for. You feel like you have a very special piece that was made just for you. Brian Baily clothing is worth every penny. You cannot get the same quailty of clothing for this price point
