In the latest collaboration between Francis Francis! and architect Luca Trazzi, the X6 Trio Espresso Machine uses an 18 bar pressure pump and unique Trio technology that makes 3 espresso preparations, including short (ristretto), normal, (espresso,) and long (espresso lungo). The X6 is designed to work exclusively with ESE pods, individual single serving pre-ground coffee wrapped in filter paper, so you'll get the perfect cup every time, with a stylish retro-contemporary design that makes a great addition to your kitchen counter.

The >Trio models
The Trio technology turns the beautiful design of the Francis Francis! machines into a valuable tool for making an excellent espresso.
The new Trio extraction group allows for greater versatility and the possibility of obtaining the desired espresso – long, normal or strong – with a simple and intuitive rotation of the filter holder. 
Cup quality is also guaranteed by a completely electronic control system.
The Trio system uses the E.S.E. (Easy Serving Espresso) single servings.
The same coffee pod can therefore be used to obtain three different results. The new Trio technology has been applied to the X1 X3 and X6 Francis Francis! machines.

It all began with an excellent espresso and a design idea
All the Francis Francis! machines originate from the creativity of Luca Trazzi, renowned designer and architect who has collaborated with numerous companies in the field of the design. 1994: The X1 was born.  "I will never forget, how Luca, who understood not a single word of Catalan, gesticulated to Joaquim, who understood not a single word of Italian, and indicated concentric circles with his hand, as if he was trying to depict the shape of a head… Joaquim nodded… and Luca kept at it: He would send him the drawing.
Two months later, Joaquim, beaming with joy, presented the first X1 made out of wood.
It immediately became obvious to all of us: the pleasure in the shape lay in the notion of giving the kitchen an entirely new meaning. The espresso machine would no longer be a misshapen, parallel-piped object, an inexpressive thing that should be hidden away in a cupboard. It would be a beautiful coffee machine, which would fill the kitchen with joy, be pleasing in design and inviting to the touch…". (Francesco Illy) |
