Great for two years, then died
I loved the Bose CD Changer for over twenty months, when it basically stopped working, and I discovered that this is a common problem. When I sent it back to Bose for repairs (which cost about $100), the UPS store told me it was the sixth they'd sent back that week. Scary. Scarier still was that when it came back, it still didn't work. I've given up on it. Without the Changer, the receiver alone is junk, with presets that don't do anywhere near as good a job as my Tivoli radio. Bose has great speakers and lousy everything else. Be warned....
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

bose wave multi cd changer
from Cornwall, ON
I was disappointed at the fact that the 'shuffle' on the cd player only shuffles that one particular CD, and not all of them. If I would of known that thats what they meant by shuffle, I wouldnt of bought it. Why Bose do you not make a shuffle like all the other manufacturers out there?? At the price you are charging, you would think you could do this simple task, especially when all other stereos seam to have them. The one thing that I do like is the sound, its amazing.

I have been wanting to buy a Bose system for so long, but when I found out that the 'shuffle' on the cd player only shuffles that one particular CD, and not all of them, I refuse. Why Bose do you not make a shuffle like all the other manufacturers out there?? Until then I will not purchase your product. Maybe if enough people ask for it, they might, but I'm not holding my breath.

I love this product

I ordered this item for Christmas along with the radio and I am just delighted with its performance. I like the fact that it is light weight and one can take it from room to room. The sound is better than from my large stereo. Wish I had ordered it sooner.

Bose total system - Great!!
By Jan & Jim
from Orangeville, Ontario
We are very happy with this system - It is everything we expected and more. Very compact, stylish and yet discreet in an open concept environment. Great sound, the CD changer allows us to stack up our favourite music without constantly changing disks, and the hand held control is so convenient. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a total music system

Fantastic Music System
from Belleville, Ontario
We are enjoying the Bose Music System with our new CD Changer so much. We now have music we can play for hours without changing the CDs- it is so convenient. It was so easy to hook up.. you just feed the CD that is supplied into your main player, and it programs the machine by itself to take the CD changer. When it is finished and gives you back the CD, the programming is done and you then hook up the changer. A simple picture which is provided makes this very clear-and I had it working in seconds. Just feed it with your CDs and press Play. When you stop the machine and start it again, the machine knows where you left off listening. So great. And we think the sound is exceptional. It is everything they say about it on the Shopping Channel. The whole system together is light and can be moved in one step to any room. So glad we went ahead and purchased the CD changer too! It's the best!

Worth getting the CD changer.
I purchased the Bose music system, along with the multi CD changer. If you entertain a lot, the CD changer is worth getting. As far as the Bose music system itself, I'm disappointed. I don't think it does what it claims. You have to have the volume up very high to obtain the quality it suppose to have, other than that it sounds just like any other music system in a $300.00 price range. The worst thing is if the battery gives out in the remote, you can't get any music as there are no buttons on the music system as everything is on the remote, so you better be very careful not to lose that slim, almost non-existant remote that comes with it, or you are stuck without music. Come on Bose, you need to update this and give us an alternative when the battery gives out in the remote or the remote is misplaced. For the price, the remote that comes with the system should be of better quality. However, I do know why it is not and that is because Bose wants more money from you, as they sell the better quality remote separately. The best thing I can say about the Bose Music System is that it is small and can be placed anywhere.
