Fresh Linen
A great gust of fresh, pure air is blowing over Lampes Berger. The whole house is spring clean with this “Fresh Linen” perfume. The mountain zephyr blows open the wardrobes, the duvet lifted by prairie winds, and the bathroom has a wash-house scent. The air takes on fragrances of lavender, cotton and Savon de Marseille soap. “Fresh Linen” perfume is as gentle and fresh as innocence itself, like a cheek resting on white linen.
So Neutral
Essential in any home, it removes unwanted odors without fragrances and lets you control the fragrance in the home by diluting it. Used between two fragrances, the Neutral Home Fragrance optimizes the operation of the AIR PUR System 3C® burner, cleaning it and extending its life span.
Orange Cinnamon
A perfume in which fresh citrus sets off a harmonious blend of spices and candied fruits. The intensity of this blend is upheld by a base combining the purity of white musk with the sweetness of amber and sandalwood.
Can you mix Lampe Berger fragrances?
No, mixing fragrances can cause chemical reactions with possible formation of substances considered as indoor pollutants, in the liquid or at the instant of diffusion.
Can you leave the Lampe Berger on all the time?
No, it is not intended for that. Its period of use is a maximum of one minute per cubic metre, in other words 20 minutes’ use in a 20sqm (51.60ft2) room.
Can you use the Lampe Berger when children are around?
Yes, provided you obey the recommendations for use and take care that they do not handle the lamp themselves and that the lamp is out of their reach. Purely as a precaution, we do not recommend using the Lampe Berger if there is a pregnant woman in the room.
How do you change the fragrance?
The ideal is to have several lamps and to use a different fragrance in each one. Alternatively, simply light the burner with So Neutral for 30 minutes before switching to a different home fragrance.
In which rooms can a Lampe Berger be used?
Anywhere: living room, lounge, bathroom, kitchen, office, bedroom, corridor, entrance. The atmosphere that you will create will vary according to the choice of fragrance and room.
How long will a burner Lampe Berger last?
With a regularly use and provided it is used exclusively with LAMPE BERGER Home Fragrances, simply change the burner after every 200 lightings.
How does catalytic combustion destroy odours but not that of the Lampe Berger Home Fragrance?
There are two areas in the burner of which one, the central area, preserves the nuances of Lampe Berger home fragrances.
What are the 3 key functions of the Lampe Berger?
To clean the air by eliminating bad odours . To fragrance the air durably . To decorate the home
The burner works and is hot. After few minutes, the open shade becomes cold, indicating that the burner has stopped working. Why and What is the solution ?
1) If you leave the flame to burn less than 2 minutes, there is a risk that the catalysis did not start. Solution: Try again, leaving the flame to burn for 2 minutes or until it reduces visibly before blowing it out.
2) The catalysis did not start, the burner is soaked with Home Fragrance. Solution: Take out the wick and the burner and leave it to dry for 3 hours until the wick is completely dry. Check the lamp is filled to a maximum of 2/3rd. Put the wick and burner back and put the cap on the lamp. Leave the wick to soak for 20 minutes. Light the burner and leave the flame to burn for 2 minutes or until it has reduced visibly and then blow it out.
The burner is getting out of the lamp. It becomes dry and does not produce any flame. There is a risk that the flame of Home Fragrance evaporates. Why and what is the solution ?
The burner was not positioned properly on the base, mainly on small lamps. Solution :Take out the wick and burner out of the lamp. Check if there is Home Fragrance in the lamp. If not, fill it up to 2/3rd. Replace the burner and the wick asse into the lamp. Check the burner is correctly inserted and positioned on the base. Leave the wick to soak for 20 minutes. Light the burner normally NB: Always put the cap back on the burner between uses.
Lampe Berger, more than a century of innovation
The air is even more pleasant when, like Lampe Berger, you are celebrating 110 years of innovation. The first Lampe Berger lamp was created in 1898 by Maurice Berger, a pharmacy dispenser, to purify the air in hospital wards.
Living conditions improved and cleansing of premises became an important preoccupation. The Lampe Berger lamp was to contribute effectively to the disinfection of hospitals from 1907 onwards. It was then seen in houses requiring the air to be cleaned.
1930: Fragrance began to provide a pleasurable dimension; the taste for beautiful objects also reached its peak and the Lampe Berger lamp became a collector's item.
Jean Cocteau and Pablo Picasso were the first “well-known people” to appreciate it.
Then came innovations concerning the exploration of materials like porcelain and a widening of the range to make Lampe Berger accessible to all. A new direction was given at the beginning of the 1980s with a fruitful cooperation with designers, who conveyed a modern touch.
In 1996 the company became structured: a Research and Development department was created in order to continue to improve product performance. Since that date, innovations have been continuous and are systematically patented worldwide, in more than 20 countries.
