Make Changes

Get through the cold winter season with the Clean Mist 6.5L Humidifier from Air Innovations. Humidifiers provide the right amount of humidity to help improve your health, protect your furniture and investments, and save money on heating costs. This device will help bring life-giving moisture back into any home. This humidifier features Clean Mist technology, which employs an antimicrobial plastic to help prevent the growth of micro-organisms on the inside surface of the water tank.

Getting the perfect amount of moisture in your room has never been easier than it will be with this virtually silent humidifier. You can even adjust the digital programmable control to your preferred level of humidity and set the timer for up to 24 hours. Boasting a unique design, this essential machine can be used on top of a table or as a tower humidifier when used with the removable 15" long extension mist nozzle. This mist nozzle can be angled or split, which allows you to place the moisture where you need it most!

Many Canadians spend nearly 90% of their time indoors due to the cold, bitter weather, so it's important that the air we breathe is healthy. Heaters, fireplaces and dry, cold weather can wreak havoc on the moisture in your home, which is not helpful for the season's runny noses, sore throats and dry skin. Be prepared and enjoy a healthy home with this exceptional Air Innovations humidifier!

Mixed review

By Brenda #1 Fan of TSC!!!

from Burlington, Ontario

All Star Reviewer

I bought this last year and do love the unit.....but gave it a 3 star only because it DOES create a fine white powder dusting on everything around it. I have the Oreck air purifier from TSC in the same open concept kitchen/family room and when I went to clean the filter on the Oreck it was TOTALLY full of a white powder and I know it is from this machine, as I stopped using it and VOILA no more white powder. Just found it was causing me more work cleaning this white powder off of everything! The unit is on TSC now and I would love someone to be honest and let all the TSC shoppers know that this will happen and explain why it does. I will still use it only if this winter becomes very cold and the house is very dry, but I will know that I will be constantly cleaning my furniture, floors and tables!!! So sad because I do love the nice cool mist that comes out!!! :((((

Luv it!

By Geo

I bought this unit in 2014..use it continually during the dry season. It's attractive..convenient size..actually a good conversation piece..I am always asked "what is that?"..I ordered the red to have that little piece of whimsy in the room! I keep it in my B/room..before was having a hard time getting a good nite's sleep..nose mouth & throat was always dry & sore! Really stuffed up all the time. My skin was really dry & itchy! I am on the whole very pleased with this machine. It is a little awkward to fill..bad design there but I still appreciate the rewards! Yes I would rather just be able to use tap water instead of buying distilled water but I found with tap water you do get the white dust all over & tap water really does clog up your machine leaving you with more of a mess to clean up. It says that right in the directions!!I usually clean it about every 3rd fill up..I always fill it right to the top. When cleaning I always bring it to the kitchen sink & do it right! Use cleaning vinegar or just regular vinegar..use little brush to get into all the little nooks & crannys making sure you get anything discolored or slimy as this is what can cause an odor & a bacterial build up. I let it air dry for a bit then fill it & start over. One function I really like is the TURBO can get the air in your room just where you like it in no time or just give it that extra boost before going to bed. I have had no leaks at all..for those having problems with white dust & odors I think that comes down to not using the distilled water & perhaps not cleaning the unit often enough or giving it a real good cleaning with vinegar..that is important..anything that is using water & cleaning the air "will" cause a bacterial build up! Vinegar is a good sanitizer! In the one review someone mentioned they did not receive the dual mister nozzle..all you have to do is take the end of nozzle in your fingers & spread open like a deck of have 2 nozzles! I missed that at first also..a friend pointed that out to me. So in all I have to say that I am happy with my machine..the pro's out-way the con's & I get better sleep & feel refreshed in the morning!

Total waste of money

I had all of the problems listed below, the humidity setting was permanently at 31, and that white film was all over my furniture, it packed in with no warning at all one night. I bought two of these and it makes me think twice about buying products like this from TSC. It did work well at first, but after about two months it became a big plastic paperweight. Fortunately it didn't harm my furnace for which I'm grateful. It's brand new! I think I'll call my furnace tech and get a proper humidifier installed on my furnace. At least that will come with a warranty that I can rely on and service men who come to my home to fix it!

Waste of Money

By Angy the Gardener

This product worked for about 1 month and then it started to make loud noises. I would like a refund, but I do not want to pay to have it sent back. I plan to complain to customer service about it. Beware of this is cheaply made.

Total Waste of Money

I was so looking forward to this humidifier but was so disappointed. First of all, it only ran for two weeks. When I called Air Innovations in Florida they said that I could send it back to them and they would send me a replacement...they were not very nice about it either. I went to the post office to mail my humidifier back to them and much to my surprise, the post office wanted $50 for shipping. I turned around and brought the humidifier home and called Air Innovations again. They said they do not repair these things...they just replace. Again, I had someone on the phone with an attitude. Needless to say, I will never buy another product from Air Innovations or any other electrical device from TSC which may die within 2 weeks or I have to mail back for a replacement. These people need to stand behind the products they sell on TSC otherwise people will just stop buying this garbage.

I purchased this unit as a Showstopper last Fall.
Since that time I have experienced a fine white dust everywhere. I couldn't believe it. I don't believe that is my water. I believe it has to do with the permanent filter that is within the unit. It creates more work for me. The water reservoir is awkward to fill. It is not stable. the unit is turned off and I will not be using it again. The air cleaners that I keep running continuously are all covered in this dust again. this will be the last time that I have to detail everything. I can relate to Starr from London.

Problems with digital display

By Stuffy Nose

from ottawa ontario

My humidifier worked well for the first month. Low & behold as soon as return deadline was over, have problems & too expensive to send back to manufacturer. 1st of all the mist does not flow out as much as it did on TV. But now the digital display does not change the current temperature. It's constantly at 31 degrees. I change it to 50 & even go higher to see if it will change and it doesn't. Has anyone else have the problem? No solution in manual troubleshooting. Very frustrating - 1st month would have given and 4 star, but now it's barely working.

I purchased two humidifiers for my home and ran them daily using London tap water. After three weeks, my furnace stopped working. Following a $200 service call I learned that the furnace filter was clogged with a fine white dust which caused the furnace to overheat and shut down. I was shocked because there was very little white dust on my furniture, and I thought London water was good. Both units were immediately returned to TSC as it was not worth the cost of purchasing distilled water or dealing with furnace issues.

My furnace technician told me that since I had the clogged filter problem, he has dealt with six other homes in this area that had the same furnace issues when using these humidifiers.

Somfar so good

I like it. Actually have this last autumn, I ordered it at showstooper. I. Used it now almost two weeks. It is very good. Every three four days I clean it then I fill it. Yes it needs filling every around 24/36 hours, but I found this is convenient.

not thrilled

By Margit

I purchased this last spring on sale. Only started using it a couple of weeks ago. At the first couple of fills, I found the performance fine. Although it had run out of water in about 24-36 hours.

It is hard to heavy and difficult to fill and try and windthe filter back on.

After about the third fill, I didn't get any output, but noticed the next day that my carpet was soaking wet. It must have leaked. This has happened about 3 out of 8 times that I have filled it. The water tank seems to be on OK, but somehow it leaks water onto the carpet. I mean, soaking wet!
