Love these planters

By Auntie

I, too, had a wheel break on me, so there needs to be something more substantial to prevent it happening in future. However, I am so pleased with the planters because I bought 2 of them to plant my tomatoes and pepper in, and today I just picked my first pepper and it is a beauty! The plants themselves look like an advertisement in a seed catalogue - that water reservoir really keeps the roots moist, even in the unbelievable heat we have been experiencing. I would recommend the planters, but I would caution the purchasers that they would do well to replace the wheels for more substantial ones before they plant anything, because once the soil is in, they are impossible to lift out.

Beautiful but full assembly required

By Gloria

I am not a handyperson and the instructions are difficult to follow. I recommend an electric screwdriver. I did, however, manage to put it together and it looks beautiful. I have had lots of compliments from my neighbours.

it's okay!

my husband is moderately handy and he found this fiddly to put together, needs 2 people at some points, had to drill a hole that was not lined up right the hole hit right where a screw is already, it looks ok, nothing special, and apparently needs to be stained which i do not recall being told that by the host, seems expensive for what you get, so will keep of course now that it put together and not easy to return although the manufacturer is just down the hwy in Cambridge, maybe should have went there they could have put it together.

Very disappointed in this product.

By Dandeny

from Val Therese, Ontario

This product is not well built @ all. We varnished it so it will last the outside weather. Wood is very brittle. Wheel broke off second attempt of moving it. Save your money. Definitely would love to return it but to much work involved in disassembling it in order to send it back.

Save Your Money

By Ross Guenter

from Lethbridge, Alberta

My wife bought 3 of these because they looked pretty good on the show. When I unpacked them I noticed the wood was splintered and split so not at all what we were expecting. They were relatively simple to assemble but as 1 reviewer stated some screws go through the hole and hit the head of another screw on the piece they're supposed to fasten to. After putting them together I put soil in them and tried rolling them into position on the concrete. one caster promptly broke off so I had to remove the other 3 to level it, now I have to carry it to
move it around. Poor workmanship overall.
