This piece is very very tiny. The description said one inch, but half of that is the bale. So the seahorse is one-half inch and the ammolite is not much bigger than the head of a pin. The photos are very deceptive. This is a charm so both sides will show; the back of the piece is not finished nicely. I would feel ripped off if I had paid the regular price. Oh, and they said that there would be a book about ammolite sent with every order that day... guess what? no book.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have other pieces of ammolite jewlery and they are very nice. I am disappointed with this charm because the clasp is faulty and not usable. I have returned the charm for a refund.

Would make a lovely gift
The reason this is a four is because the charm was really tiny. There is colour play in the stone. I'll be wearing as a pendant on a chain. Very dainty looking.

Beautiful little charm.
I bought these to give as gifts for my European cousins daughters. I always try to bring them gifts that are Canadian made. Whats more Canadian than ammolite? These charms are lovely, delicate and have tiny ammolites in them that have wonderful colours. I think the girls will be delighted with them. I was:)
