2015 $20 Silver Coin: Venetian Glass Turtle with Broadleaf Arrowhead Flower

This 2014 $20 pure silver coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint is both a limited edition collectible and a spectacular work of art.  The design features engraved and painted green leaves and white flowers of the broadleaf arrowhead. A stunning, translucent turtle made of Venetian glass and hand-crafted by Giuliano Donaggio - a master glassmaker in Murano, Italy - sits upon a floating log in the center of the image field.

Previous coins with Murano glass have sold out quickly and most have gone up in value in the secondary market.

The coin contains just over one ounce of fine silver.  As a pure silver coin struck by the Royal Canadian Mint, this item is GST/HST exempt.  Mintage is limited to 12,500.
