Dell Inspiron 5559 Laptop

Defective motherboard component and Dell will not replace or repair this laptop.Worse still, Dell will not refund or cancel the payments made thus far. DO NOT PURCHASE DELL PCs as the are possible the worst ever PC laptops & desktops

Update, was looking at the reviews fromm the other Dell Inspiron 17 ADM8 buyers and i do not have any problems so far accept for a week after one day my computer crashed 2-3 times but i just stuck my Fix Me Stick in and problem was solved instantly, can't remember what it was but was some kind of bug or somthing like that and have not had issues since. I have loaded my computer with the moving program with everything i had on my old computer with no problems, have been on my computer between 8 to 12 hours a day working and have looked at lots of movies on weekends did some shopping and more with no hitch. Rebooting is fast and everything else too so don't know if i was lucky with my machine or just made sure before working with it that everything was properly loaded, virus free and up to date but i just love my computer and not disapointed at all buying it at a blockbuster price. Since just been working with it alomost 2 months i will be giving an other update in an other 2 months or before if i encounter any problems but so far very happy with this computer so...P.S. forgive my writing i usualy write in french

Not happy at all.

I bought this product and had to have it returned to Dell under 3mths. During the 3mths It was slow to reboot no internet connection and other problems. Eventually after weeks on the phone with tech support they sent for the computer to rebuild or reboot or put in some factory updates or something. Here I am another 3mths later and same thing . It started with very slow reboots, then taking long to power on etc untill now it seems the hard drive has crashed. Im waiting for them to confirm and send for the unit. However i thing the error code Hard Drive not installed speaks for itself. My real dissatisfaction is that Dell won't replace the unit and insist on repairing. I feel as if I've bought a factory reconditioned unit for the price of a new one. I cannot say if a new one will not have the same problems an daybed I got a lemon because I don't have another unit to compare with. But I will not recommended this product.

Totally disappointing

Dell Inspiron AMD designed for the shopping channel is so disappointing I'm actually embarrassed that I bought it.
It crashes regularly, and now this time I don't even know if it can be restored.
I'm halfway through my easy pay instalments, yet I'm sure it's not returnable at this point.
Please do not make the same mistake of buying this product.

No problems so far

I just been working on this new Dell computer since yesterday and had no problems what so ever getting this computer starting and going so it is working for me. It is a very good upgrade from my 2011 laptop and faster is better in my case. This is my first Dell but not my first AMD processors and never had problems with AMD on my old laptop just wanted to upgrade and will be giving my old one to my niece once i have been working with this new one a couple of weeks. So...will be giving another review in 2-3 weeks.

There is no backlight for the keyboard? This is unbelievable given the 15$ cost. Second laptop return this month. The last Star Wars PC crashed every hour.
